Paint by Canvas Reviews

Crazy stress reliever makes me feel like I’m paying my own pictures again will be doing more

I have ordered four Paint by Canvas pictures. If you can color in a coloring book, you can paint your own art piece. Easy Breezy. I have given two away as a gift and kept two for myself. I plan on ordering more and adding it to my gallery. ( hall wall )

I had been wanting to try a paint by number kit as I do not have any artistic talent. When I saw that Paint by Canvas offered personalized kits I had to try it.
I started my kit during a difficult time for our family. I was helping to care for my ailing mother. Every evening after she would get settled for the night. I would unwind by painting. I painted for about 1-3 hrs. every evening. I ended up with a beautiful masterpiece of my grandson with a fall background. That painting is so special to our family. I am doing a painting of everyone in our family at the same age and hanging them all over our home. I have recommended the kits to all my friends and family. Thank you, Paint by Canvas.

Amazing painting!! The canvas arrived really fast. The drawing on it was very clear and the instructions were very easy to follow. The painting turned out great.

Really excellent product and very good customer service. The detail on the canvas is amazing and the paints really bring out all the colours of the picture.

will review - WHEN my order arrives - ask me again in a few weeks

My latest painting is slightly different and is a 'view' rather than a person as most of my others have been. I've not finished it because it is much more difficult than previous pieces I've done, but I love it!

Very good quality and service I enjoyed painting it was good and calming

They sent me three pictures today. One was missing a number the second picture. It was three people on there and there was a four person. I didn’t know who was on there and the third picture the sun was in the face of the person. Terrible job. Terrible job.

Great concept. Whilst delivery was slow it is the quality of the canvas that I struggled with. The surface has a plastic/vinyl feel which means the paint just sits on top without any ‘grip’ and the numbers show through. Customer service response was timely but I was advised “The paint isn’t supposed to fully absorb into the canvas; it stays more on the surface. If a number shows through too much, we recommend applying a second layer of paint once it has dried”.
I am trying to do the ‘lifelike’ 48 colour option and it is quite intricate so this canvas finish is just not viable. There was no feedback on advice on return/refund options. I will not buy this product again.

All in the box looks ok. It hasn’t been used yet so not sure how it’ll turn out, but as this was a gift and the price you pay for it, you expect the box to be of good quality and arrive safely. Unfortunately however, the box turned up very badly damaged, ripped. The box doesn’t reflect the price you pay for it to arrive safely. I did write to them regarding this, and said I would feel embarrassed given it away as a gift as it looks cheap. It took them a couple of days to reply back, I didn’t feel like they really cared much to be honest. It takes a while for the product to be delivered which is understandable, but was expecting the box to be strong not flimsy.

This is by far the most relaxing, stress reliever activity Ive done when I have a free time. The canvas was super easy to paint on, the colors are really vibrant and the DIY frame was super easy to assemble. I am looking forward for my third canvas.

I am on my second painting as we speak! The first one I did was such a joy, it was of my Mother, and I reminisced about our lives throughout the entire time I painted. It is “uncanny” how incredibly spot on the painting is, versus the original photograph!

Paint by Canvas puts the old paint by number projects to SHAME!

I could not see the numbers on canvas.

I lost my dog over 3 years ago and to paint his portrait almost seemed to bring him back to life. I was so pleased with the result and enjoyed the experience of painting so much I am now trying a family portrait using 48 colours. It’s slow going must most enjoyable.

I love, love, love this seller and products. Went with the 48 paint colours as a complete beginner and the result is amazing. Now on my second masterpiece! Would recommend !

When I ordered, there was a drop-down that said “frame”. They did not mean frame but meant stretcher with a mounted canvas. Because of how it was labeled, I did not order a “frame” but assumed it was on a stretcher. I called their customer service and asked how to remedy it, and they said that they could not. I then asked what their stated “100% satisfaction guaranteed” meant and they replied it was only for the painting itself. Some guarantee.
I would be wary of this company.

I received my order today. I had paid for stretched canvas, while I got rolled.
I had paid for 10 additional brushes, which I never received.
I have sent an email to them. If they correct my order, I will change my rating. But as of now I am very disappointed!!

I give one star because I cannot give zero. I ordered at the end of January and the page said I would’ve received it by the 19th of February (I wanted to give it as Valentines present and wouldn’t mind few days late). Is the 29th of February now and I did not receive any parcel at all! God knows where my parcel is. I’ve raised a complaint and all I received was “sorry for the delay”. Is such a joke. Don’t waste your money!! I’ve also asked for a refund and they refused to give me my money back. Avoid please!!!!!!!!!

UK order. Got a email two weeks ago saying it’s on its way…two weeks later the tracking number says in transit and offers no other details.
