Lifelike and adorable prehistoric plush
Just received my Dimetrodon grandis plushie. Like my previous orders this website, Rebecca's craftsmanship is extraordinary. Her Dimetrodon is lifelike and paleo-accurate to current standards, and yet it still looks adorable. This can make it a great decorative item if you like to build little sceneries, or just have a couple of paleo-accurate plushies bunched together. With the Dimetrodon, I appreciate the striking red colors, which thematically fit with the desert environment of the Permian Pangea, and with the fossils' origin in the Texan Red Beds. Something I noticed with the Dimetrodon in hand, he looks so fierce with his little painted-on teeth sticking out of the mouth, yet when I look at him from above his shiny eyes give him an adorable puppy-dog-eyes expression.
Bottom line, this is a delightful plushie to have if you're into paleo-accurate prehistoric representation.
