Flight was initially delayed than cancelled.
It was a connection flight with fhe subsequent one being missed.
Communication to customers was extremely poor, not timely and confusing.
There was no assistance in rebooking flights.
PAL had to be reminded of duty of care to see customers to final destination and yet shown eagerness, interest or competence to do so.

Air Canada flight to Montreal connected with PAL to continue to Quebec City. First time using this airline and can't say enough good things. My disabilities force me to ask for assistance(which bothers me)but the staff as with most airlines are very reassuring and helpful. The young ladies who helped me in Montreal were great, got me to the gate, answered questions, offered advice, asked if I needed anything. They offered to stay with me ,but I said not necessary, so they would keep coming back "casually" to say Hi and check on my comfort + needs. Flight was delayed due to snow + conditions in Quebec City, they were even more attentive to me, as well as everyone at the gate area. The woman in YQB waiting for me was equally enthusiastic about helping me. Could not do enough. Great flight ,Great ground experience , Great little airline. Thank You

In my rating system, 5 stars is not easily obtained. It is reserved for companies who go above and beyond and who are my first choice when I avail of their respective service. PAL Airlines is a well deserved 5 Star company.

In a day of air travel when you might feel like a piece of lost luggage when dealing with many carriers, PAL is a breath of fresh air. They aim high to provide you the best service possible and treat you like a human and valued customer like you would expect of any airline, or business for that matter.

Predominantly focused in eastern Canada with a recent expansion linking in smaller airports to the major hubs, they are ideal for travelling within the region and are now connected with Montreal where one can connect with most major carriers.

As they picked up many of the routes other major carriers abandoned and have an extremely competitive pricing model, they are fast becoming the airline of choice in Atlantic Canada.

I have been travelling with this airline since it's inception and watched the steady growth. I have had coffee and muffins served to me while I waited to check in. I have had fresh locally made sandwiches as a basic meal when other airlines tossed me a small bag of snacks and wanted to charge me an exorbitant price for a stall bagged sandwich that was made goodnesses knows where and when.

Having recently returned to Canada for a short visit with family in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador, I chose PAL as my airline of choice. I flew direct and did not have to get routed through Toronto with long layovers like other airlines operating in the region.

In addition, I needed to carry extra luggage and explained my situation to the agent. They had the authority to make decisions which were good for me rather than quoting from some corporate policy or denying my request.

I continued my journey with them this evening. My flight had been delayed this morning. However, I received more than sufficient messaging and calls to notify me of the change.

If there was a recommendation that I could make for improvement, it would be how they approach luggage and how this is explained on their web site. It is just a little more confusing than it need be, in my opinion.

I feel good service needs to be recognised and had to write this review to help other travellers like myself.
