Good quality, fast and on time delivery, pleasure to perches from

Was quite disapointed when starting to work on the panneling as quite a few had a different profile on the groove, so when tongue was inserted there was a difined gap where as most were flush joints.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend this company. Very sneaky with their prices. The online information as well as price's are not accurate and they don’t honour them when you call about it, it’s just ‘tough’. Also signed up for the 10% discount, only got sent a 5% one and when they changed it to 10% for me it wasn’t valid anyway as they coincidentally put what I wanted to order as ‘on sale’ which can’t accept discount codes. And increased the price on the website too. I queried it and all denied. Absolute joke. Surprised they sell anything. Avoid avoid avoid.

I placed Order #61667 on 2 August and am still waiting for my order and a confirmed delivery date.

The issue is not simply the delay, but the poor communication and the company's response when I raised concerns.

Panelling Direct have claimed that they notify customers the day before delivery and that I "decided to go out on the day of delivery". However, this is not an accurate account of events. I received a text message over the weekend advising that delivery was scheduled for Tuesday. I replied immediately advising that nobody would be home after midday, asked whether a morning delivery was possible, and offered Wednesday as an alternative when someone would be available all day.

This was communicated in advance, not on the day of delivery.

Following the failed delivery attempt, I repeatedly had to chase for updates. On 20 August I was told: "We are currently looking to reschedule your delivery for next week, and as soon as we have a delivery date we will be in contact with you.

No delivery date was provided, so I had to contact the company again on 24 August and again on 26 August asking when the order would be delivered.

What I found particularly disappointing was the response to my review. Rather than addressing the delay or providing a resolution, the company accused me of being "factually incorrect", "misleading" and "slandering" the business.

I appreciate that delivery issues can occur. However, customers should not have to repeatedly chase for updates, and legitimate concerns should be addressed professionally rather than dismissed.

For transparency, I have retained the text messages and email correspondence relating to this order and have based this review on those records.

Easy to order from website, delivered on time and date specified. Delivery driver friendly and helpful.

Order of shiplap cladding was good quality. Started recladding my shed.
Driver was helpful and assisted getting it to my garden.

This is a great company! The price was very good and the order was processed quickly. Sam in customer services was extremely helpful and kept us fully up to speed on the delivery. The delivery driver was great too and even though it was late in the day and we were his last drop off, was cheerful and helpful. We would definitely recommend them and would certainly use them again.
