New Parla Pro Tabs are fab
I had a long delay for my subscription but the new formula is worth it and the customer service team were super helpful. Thanks to Hayley!
Shame - terrible service, great product
Love this product so decided to describe and have experienced the same issue as other reviewers. Subscribed for a refill 248 pro white. And revived a jar of 62 ordinary tabs. I have had no communications from parla despite emails and Instagram messages. They have essentially taken money for something I did not order….a much cheaper product too. I have immediately unsubscribed whilst I try to get my money back.
Do not subscribe unless you want to be defrauded
I have just cancelled my subscription. I was charged for four months hydroxyapatite, but received a small jar with about a fortnight’s supply of the cheaper product. I queried this, got no sense from emailing customer support, a repayment of a quarter of what I was charged was made. There are other providers who are about half the price and, fingers crossed, do not defraud customers.
Also charged for 248 tablets and sent 62.
Update 21/5/24: Parla finally emailed me an apology for delay responding and with a copy of a general communication sent on 30 April, indicating supply problems, delayed orders, and they would send FOC jar of 62 tablets to tide over customers with pending orders. I never received this- probably as I am not on their marketing mailing list (opted out). It seems they didn’t ensure customers with pending orders were included on this list. They could easily have included an explanatory note with the jars they sent to ensure customers understood what was going on. They indicated my order should be sent in the next week.
This is not the first time I’ve had issues with them fulfilling an order. But they did respond promptly last time. So they don’t have a very good track record with me.
My opinion- good product, poor execution in fulfilling orders, poor customer service response times.
Original post: As per review 9 April, exactly same has happened to me. They charged me the £32 renewal for 248 tablets and sent a jar of 62. I also am getting no replies. Today is day 9. I’ve contacted them twice by email. I’ll be contacting my credit card company for a resolution as they seem intentionally to be short supplying customers. I’ve now cancelled my subscription. My dentist had recommended, so I’ll be informing them to steer people away from ordering via them online. Perhaps they are in their death throes and we’ll soon hear they have gone out of business.
Genuinely shocking customer services
Parla withdrew £64 from my account for my subscription and sent me £13.90 worth of a different product. I have now emailed 4 times over the course of eight days asking for a refund and had no response. I have cancelled my subscription via the website but there is no number listed and so I feel mugged. Hoping for some sort of response on here.
Zero customer service - do not trust Parla!
I was on the Parla Pro subscription (240 tabs every 3 months) and was happy with the product. In my last subscription they sent me the wrong product (62 tabs of the normal one). I've tried to contact Parla through Instagram and the email address given and have not had an acknowledgement let alone a reply. I've now cancelled my subscription.
AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS
Absolutely awful. I ordered items on the 26th March and paid nearly £4 for delivery and nothing. No communication, no updates on delivery and no goods! I don't care how good their toothpaste is AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS
Customer Service?
It would appear that the toothpaste tab recipe has recently changed and I find the new version leaves a really unpleasant aftertaste. I tried to contact customer services (via email) to cancel my subscription but didn't even get an automated response to confirm receipt of my emails. I've eventually managed to log in to my account to cancel the subscription that way. Disappointed with level of service and more so with the change in recipe (I'd been a happy customer for a good few years but then I'd never had to contact anyone within the company).
Very poor customer service
I have been a customer for the last couple of years but suddenly everything has gone wrong. I have sent several emails asking where my order is. I threatened to cancel my subscription if I didn’t hear from them. They actually cancelled my subscription rather than contacting me. Disgusting customer service.
Took my money but didn't even bother with my order!
I was keen to order from this company and try their product. They took my money and didn't even bother shipping my order? 2 contact forms completed and 3 emails sent, as of course no phone number to call, and no response back at all. They did refund my order and cancel the subscription as requested in the email but why no interaction? Very poor service and disappointing for a company that apparently doesn't want the business?
Great until they changed the formula
I've been a customer of Parla for a couple of years now, and I am generally really happy with them. Their customer service is fine. Their website is a bit rubbish, especially the user/subscription pages. Their toothbrushes aren't great so I've stopped using them. The main thing of course is the toothpaste tablets. Up until this month I really loved them. The flavour and level of foaminess was perfect. Now they have changed their formula to make them foam more, but the flavour is also different: it's so sickly sweet I actually dread brushing my teeth with them. Disappointed I'm going to have to find another brand.
No update, no communication
Ordered on 28th January. No update or shipping email so far and no response to emails.
I like their product but won't buy direct from the company again, and as I paid by PayPal, I will be claiming back my money.

All good. Delivered within a few days. Just started using and so far our teeth feel good. Yes, Amazon delivered my package, but I don’t know why people are bothered about this. Amazon packages always arrive and never go missing.

I have tried to contact PARLA 6 times via email, twice on messenger on Instagram and left messages on their Insta posts yet no response so I cancelled my subscription. ZERO customer service. Absolutely no-one responds to you whatever avenue you try to speak to someone through. I would never use again and I would recommend alternatives if you want to go down the tab route.

Beware, unreliable delivery.
Despite this company making some good products (though they really need to hygiene seal them, numerous times I’ve bought them from the supermarket and the jar looks tampered with) buying from them directly is misleading.
They clearly state delivery by Royal Mail, DPD or Parcelforce.
However, they actually use Amazon and Evri (two of the absolute worse companies) via Parcelhub, which is a Whistl company - another appalling delivery service.
Misleading consumers in this way is unlawful under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and is also covered in the Consumer Rights Act.
Too many of these start-ups ignoring/being ignorant of legislation.
No response from them to my email.
Terrible communication
Been waiting 2 weeks for my subscription renewal to be despatched, no communication or response from parla to let me know what’s going on, tried emailing and using the chat on their site but radio silence back
Misleading Subscriptions & Bad Customer Service
Subscription stated 4 month subscription, but the box of floss I received states 2 month supply and the confirmation email states the next lot will be sent in 5 months time, not 4.
I have essentially spent almost £12 for 2 months worth of floss, absolute rip off. I realised that with it being eco friendly it would be more expensive and was willing to pay that for a 4 month supply but not 2 months!
I queried this all via email with them and no response so far - awful experience so will definitely not be using them again and will pass the feedback on to my dentist who originally recommend the company.
Really disappointed
Really disappointed. Paid £52 for toothpaste and mouthwash tabs on 18 August and they’ve still not arrived.
Messages on the website go unanswered. I’m beginning to wonder whether the business is still going concern.
Cancelled subscription and still taking money
This is the second or potentially third review as the company gets worse.
Although I cancelled the subscription and had been informed I had done so, months later they are yet again trying to take money from me. Poor customer service and no response.
