Peak Pharmacy was founded in 1981 and is based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
It has grown via merger and acquisition from a single pharmacy into the business it is today, consisting of over 150 pharmacies and an online pharmacy.
In 2023 we moved to our new purpose-built facility, in Bolsover, housing both our head office and warehouse. The warehouse uses state-of-the-art automation technology and machinery for medicine packing and distribution.

Appalling service Peak pharmacy Ilkeston
I’m a disabled customer who receives multiple scripts every week. My husband picks these up. Rarely are the scripts available the day they are due often 24-48 hours later. My husband enquired about having an important script delivered for controlled medicine as he had a hip replacement and can’t drive. We were told by the pharmacist as soon as we received the script text to call the pharmacy and they will arrange delivery. We did this and were told that wasn’t possible, someone had to come in and physically pick them up. We explained there was no one available to help us. My husband 2 days into hip replacement surgery has gone in a taxi to get the prescription. It’s not like they haven’t let us down before. There was no apology from the pharmacy. Bath St Ilkeston.

perfect for offing elderly relatives
Perfect for 'offing' elderly relatives and solving the pension crisis in one easy and swift approach.
I complained to the pharmacy in February when they had dispensed my elderly father in law (who they know is confused) 2 different brands of thyroxine.
He'd just had his dose increased from 25 to 50mcg so with 2 different looking packets of tablets, he could potentially have started taking 100mcg.
I contacted the pharmacy who weren't at all bothered and basically said if that's all they have, then that's all they can give and refused to guarantee that it wouldn't happen again.
Consequently I escalated to the superintendent pharmacist who acknowledged my complaint and said they would respond within 30 days.
Reader, they didn't.
At a loss to know what to do, I then contacted the General Pharmaceutical council, who spoke to the pharmacy and said 'there were lessons to be learned - blah blah' only to do the same thing a few days later with his Bisoprolol and Clopidogrel.
I guess lessons are only learned for one drug at a time - and we've got around 8 more, before he can be secure in what he's taking.
If you want a hands off approach to 'offing' your elderly relatives and/or are concerned that there will be no money left in the pension pot when its your turn, this really is the pharmacy for you
