Pexels is excellent! I can't say enough. Have used this site for years now, and it's easy, straightforward, and fast! It has saved me so much time. Even though the pics are free, I always leave a donation - I recommend this site to so many people.
Other photo sites are complicated and take you from one window to the next before you get what you want - then they want to charge you somewhere down the line. Yuk! Total waste of time.
Keep up the great work Pexels! You rock!!!

Pexels actually provides stock and B-roll footage featuring Black people, including simple things like Black hands, which is a huge relief compared to other platforms like Pixabay or Coverr.co. The selection is solid, easy to find, and free to use. Definitely deserves 5 stars for supporting diverse creators.

5/10 When I had a website I used these pictures.
Not only that there were limited amounts of good pictures to use, some of them seemed kinda inapropriate. Although I do understand most of the inapropriate pictures are not uploaded by Pexels, I feel that they should filter out the inapropriate ones.
Example: Buttocks
Not good for kids under 8

Love the idea of quality sharing platform for photos and videos.

*Chaotic Curation*
Unfortunately the curation seams arbitrary and the mysterious 'curation team' removes content without providing a reason.

*Unprofessional Customer Service*
Customer service was stringing me along with standard platitudes for 2+ days without actually reading my ticket or reaching out to the curation team.

Good quality images, no sign up, no spam. What more could you want. 5*

This website is totally amazing and you guys don't think about it because it's very natural and easy. It would be great if we could change the image size without having to click on it.

From using the site, it's good for exposure but poorly designed and extremely glitchy. A lot of things are often not working.

I just found this website and it's crazy good. I could find videos I needed easily just by typing a word or two. Really amazing website, I would recommend!

Well, you can improve by not telling lies. There's no "free content" in this site, once for every shabby picture offered you are asked for a "donation", among other botheration such as being asked a report about how and where you used a photo directly in your own mail box! My friends, FREE is FREE, not to be used as a bait.

Tagging doesn't work and customer service hasn't responded for months even after trying to reach out to them many times.

the entire site is pointless, if you cant edit and upload your own designs, why am i gonna download a stock video for if i cant do anything with it.

excedant, franchement agacant. tu cherches un type precis d'image donc tu cherches ces images avec un terme precis tu tombes sur l'inverse exacte. je cherche un burreau vintage donc je tape 'vintage office' dans la barre de recherche. POURQUOI JE TOMBE SUR UNE VIEILLARDE QUI ARROSES SES P****N DE PLANTES ! et jamais de bureau au final...

Yes I know! I agreed to put my images on Pexels for FREE download but I maybe wrongly expected to have donations from at least a few of the downloads. I have been on the site for about a year, uploaded approximately 250 images, have received 1.5 million view and a little more than 5000 downloads and received one donation for $5.00. If you submit images to this site don't expect anything from the freeloaders that download your images to better their own businesses.

As far a Pexels themselves it is not bad if you are shopping for free images. the biggest problem is searching. the Database is screwed up.. you search for something specific and you get more irrelevant results than what you searched for. An the stats.. not sure if they are correct or even close. I have seen contributors with only a few images and millions of views per month?? questionable. I have removed all of my images except 3 and I will watch and see what the status do on my profile. Don' set your exceptions too high
