PGC Basketball Reviews 

The first day of camp was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and hospitable. Their energy and kindness made us feel right at home.

My daughter attended PGC for the second time this summer. She absolutely loves it and we can see the growth in her personally and on the court.

My daughter (age 14) found the PGC basketball camp by herself. We trusted her research and signed her up for two separate weeks of PGC camp this summer. We could not have made a better choice! The overall training experience - skills development, character building, cultivating the right attitude for the game and for life - was life-changing! Our daughter came out of the camps more confident, with a honed set of leadership and collaborative work skills, and with personal fulfillment of having overcome her shyness at meeting new people and working with them. As educators ourselves, we so appreciate the dedication, professionalism, and care consistently demonstrated by all PGC staff we interacted with.

Cannot wait to do at least another week of PGC next summer! And hoping to find an accessible to us location for the fall shooting college organized by PGC as well!

This is by far the best camp I’ve ever attended both as a player and a coach. Elite training for basketball skills and life challenges.

My son, who is heading into 8th grade, went to his first week of overnight camp and attending Playmakers College. He went in with very high expectations as a teammate of his went last year and really talked up his experience. I was almost afraid that his expectations were too high and that things may not live up to expectations. Thankfully, PGC did not disappoint. He had a great time. It was a lot of hard work, but he felt the coaching on the courts and in the classroom was top notch. I already have him signed up for a second week of Playmaker Collge and just added a third week of camp so he can attend Shooting College. PGC is an investment for sure, but I’m so thrilled my son feels he’s improving as a player and a teammate.

When I first got to pgc my shooting was off, I couldn’t drive to the rim, and kept turning over the ball. just after a few days of being there I’ve been the best I’ve ever been and am still getting better I just finished my week at pgc and I can’t wait to come back next year all the staff were amazing and were always there to help! Class was fun lots of fun games and good plays to learn and to grow your self as a player, person and leader

The director and staff were phenomenal. I mean top notch. Then I also met the director of camp directors who was just an incredible person. Mano is building a team of high level people within the organization that will help the instruction and delivery of basketball skills, leadership training and IQ be unparalleled in the sports industry. Incredible.

My daughter had a fantastic experience at PGC camp, I didn't know if the classroom portion and late nights would be too much for her but she absolutely loved it, did not want to leave at the end of the week. Will be back next summer!

This experience has been a game-changer for our daughter. She was an excellent practice player/skills player, but questioned herself on the court and with being a leader. It was affecting her confidence on the court and her views of herself as an athlete. I was able to attend parent night during her week, and I was immediately impressed that the instructor knew the names of the 130 attendees and could call on them by name. The classroom session felt like a TedTalk about excellence, adversity, and being your best self when others were (and were not watching) and watching the gym session was great. The music, the energy, and the way the coaches and assistants were interacting and giving feedback was a lesson in excellence. And, the proof is in the pudding; our daughter has been playing a better game, her confidence and joy in the game is back, and she has stepped up as a leader. It has been a joy to observe.

This was my son's second year at PGC and he had a great time! The information, confidence, and friendships he was able to make made it so worthwhile!

I loved it because I seen immediate results in my son. He went from 2 points a game to 14. He also turned into a hand down leader meaning saying it’s ok and being supportive. Very organised camp.

My players learned valuable new skills that will help them lead our team forward in the coming season. Growth came from learning play maker skills and they grew practicing and learning the mental part of the game. This training will greatly improve their performance and mindset.

Coming to PGC was a considerable investment and risk. We live in Europe and having only heard of it from a friend’s friend we had to read the site and trust that was written was true and trust our “gut” but also the description. In a world of overly commercialised misleading marketing, we took the risk and what we found out is a treasure trove of knowledge, mentorship and character building gold mine.

PGC provides a comprehensive, well planned, well-executed set of camps that enhance student athletes physically, mentally, and strategically.

The leadership lessons surpass some of what is taught in corporate america.

As a parent, signing my child up for PGC camps has been the best basketball decision thus far.

My son did all 3 camps in one summer having one week between each camp and he loved every one of them. He trains throughout the year so he has very high energy to do this. He is looking forward to doing more in his years to come.

As a parent, I couldn’t be more impressed with the PGC Basketball Camp experience. Christian came home with so much more than improved basketball skills. They gained confidence, leadership skills, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be a great teammate.
Every day they were excited to share what they had learned—from making smarter decisions on the court and attacking different defenses to communicating effectively, encouraging teammates, and building positive relationships with coaches. I especially appreciated that PGC emphasized character, resilience, and leadership just as much as basketball fundamentals.
The lessons on controlling what you can control, treating referees and coaches with respect, and staying positive through failure are life skills that extend far beyond the game. It was clear that the coaches were intentional about developing the whole athlete, not just better basketball players.
Watching my child’s confidence grow throughout the camp was incredible. They returned home motivated, eager to practice what they learned, and excited to become a better leader both on and off the court.
I highly recommend PGC to any family looking for a camp that develops basketball IQ, leadership, confidence, and character. The impact of this experience will last long after the final whistle.

Terribleeeeeee
When I first heard about this program, I was extremely excited for my child. Something came up and we had to cancel a month before the actual camp started. I wasn't able to get my refund. I was told it can be used for another camp selection. PGC not able to provide people their refunds are insane. I didn't know about paying the extra fee in case of a refund. Again, I was so excited and just paid for my daughter to start. I called asking to speak to someone in leadership hoping someone will find it good grace and process the refund... NOPE all that money down the drain. I don't want to use it for anything moving forward No Thanks I'll pass. If you're a hard-working parent and looking for extra training for your child and not really sure, keep strolling. Find somewhere else not here!!!!!!!

Our son Geo was excited, but very hesitant during the 1st day. We told him to open his mind and give it a chance. He agreed and by the last day, he told us the amazing experience he had and loved all the coaches. He came home exhausted, but told us how this experience changed him and realization how important his family is to him and how appreciative he is for all we do and he has. Definitely will go back. He is excited about the upcoming shooting college camp!

My daughter’s experience at PGC was top notch. She left a better teammate, leader, player, and most importantly - a better human being. Her confidence grew tremendously, and she’s already looking forward to another opportunity to go to camp. The icing on the cake was being mentored by phenomenal PGC staff and those moments will last forever. But the cherry on top?! She’s even making her bed every day now! :)

This program is unlike any other program. It goes beyond skills. The builds character and builds on the "why". Seeing my daughter take her lessons and apply them now is what makes me most proud.
