Dr. Emmel is kind and professional. The e-learning course he taught is excellent. It is composed of 100 modules with a lot of resources to help me succeed such as pre-test and post-test, summary exams, and PTCB mimic exam which you can take many times, e-book library, virtual classroom which is scheduled about every week and virtual classroom recording if you missed the class, He is also available to help via text message. I appreciated the course and his response to my messages which was quick. This course is worth it. Highly recommended Pharmacy Tech Scholar.

Easy to get through and very informational.

First, I would like to thank you for the pharmacy technician knowledge and information you’ve provided. I have learned a lot and truly feel like I am part of a structured program. I appreciate your effort in hosting virtual classes as well as keeping the resources updated.

Although this is an online course, I can feel the dedication you put into it and your genuine desire for students to succeed in their pharmacy technician careers.

One thing I enjoy most about this course is the visual learning and the small interactive “game-like” activities. I am a visual learner, so this really helps me imagine real-life situations and understand how to behave in a pharmacy workplace.

I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn about becoming a pharmacy technician. I think the program is already very good, and I have genuinely enjoyed being part of this course.

I hope you continue putting effort into this program, and I believe it will keep improving even more in the future.

I liked that it was self-paced, and I was able to accomplish everything on my own terms.

The sheer amount of information covered in this program can feel overwhelming for someone just stepping into the pharmaceutical industry, but it’s way better than feeling overwhelmed trying to learn everything on the job. At the time of writing this review, I’ve been a pharmacy tech for about 3 months, and I’ve been able to really thrive thanks to this program! This was literally life-changing for me as I took this course in the process of switching careers.

I really enjoyed this online pharmacy course. The video lectures were excellent and covered very important information pertaining to pharmacy. I appreciated the additional optional readings that were recommended — they helped me better understand the material.

I also liked how the instructor reaches out to students with questions and checks in to see how they’re doing. The live lectures were a nice option (though I could never catch them due to my schedule).

One suggestion: I’d love to see more fun games added to help remember the material. I especially enjoyed playing the games for the medication chapter, and think more of those would be really helpful.

Overall, a great course!

Overall, I am satisfied with the content and instruction. The material is well-organized, clear, and effective in building a strong foundation for the exam.

One minor area for improvement: while most PTCE preparation focuses on the Top 200 drugs, this course includes information on the Top 300 drugs. In my opinion, this may be somewhat excessive for PTCB prep and could add an unnecessary study burden for learners who are trying to focus on the most high-yield material.

Helpful modules great practice test.

I had a very positive experience with this course. It was well organized, easy to follow and provided a strong foundation. I especially appreciate how the lessons were structured.

It was a good experience, want to add that the time limit should be holded or paused on a website if a student gets caught into something that occupies the whole day and when can't study during that time. Like I got busy with things right after I enrolled for the course and requested if we can hold the course time duration to get back on my studies

I originally took the PTU 101 program (which was very expensive), and I still felt I needed some extra review before taking the PTCE exam so I decided to take this program for a final review to help me study. This course actually ended up being more helpful and beneficial than the expensive program I took, especially the Top 300 Drug part. I love that there is both an activity portion to listen and learn, plus a whole chapter on the subject to read - which the other program did not provide. I have come to learn, I retrain information better with both listening AND reading so this was beyond useful and helpful. I would highly recommend this course!
