I have several photographs that have been restored by Photographs Forever, they are so knowledgeable. The last photo I sent to them was about 62 years old. It was a black and white infant school group photo that had seen better days. It was fading and one of the faces had almost disappeared. I couldn't believe what a fantastic job they had made of it. It now looks like the photo was taken recently. I have had compliments from relatives. Amy and her team are very quick and keep you posted step by step. I wouldn't send my photographs anywhere else.

Excellent communication from my first enquiry until the receipt of the restored and printed black and white photos. Most of the photos were fine after optimisation, but I had three, which had faded or were damaged, restored. Whilst this wasn’t cheap I was very happy with the results and didn’t feel I had been overcharged in any way. The prints and enlargements are being used in family history folders that I’m putting together for younger members of the family. I would unhesitatingly recommend Photographs Forever.

I have a few photographs of my grandmother dating from the early 1900s, including her wedding in Dublin in 1903. and wanted these restored. I tried the online AI generated restorations but these were, frankly, useless.
Then I submitted them to Photographs Forever and was simply astounded at the results - beautiful, vivid, completely natural restorations!
My grandmother, Madame Fanny Waterfield, was a popular and much-loved singer on the Dublin stage in the first quarter of the 20th century. We have very few photographs of her.
There is another reason why I wanted these restored. She is likely to have been the inspiration for James Joyce's Molly Bloom in Ulysses. Her appearance, personality and life story bear an extraordinary resemblance to Molly Bloom's.
Everyone at Photographs Forever was a pleasure to deal with and I was guided with great care and attention to detail through each step.
If your old photographs are really important to you, I would really recommend that you use Photographs Forever to restore them! Go with the real photographers!

My local butcher showed me a selection of photos of his shop probably from ca. 1910, showing a Model T Ford outside.
I passed the full pack to Amy and she selected the best one to enhance.
When I passed the final pic to the butcher, he was delighted and it will soon be on display in the shop.

This was not my first time of using the company so I expected the best again and I was certainly not disappointed.

Dealing with them is not a cheap option financially but if people want the highest possible quality product then their amazing expertise has to be paid for.

Good professional service delivered on time

I had long been looking for a photo of my late parents that would serve as a fitting memorial to them. When I found an old print tucked away in a box in the attic my wife mentioned Photographs Forever, who had recently restored much older and in some cases, damaged photos from her family, which had been scattered by conflicts in the early and mid 20th century. The photo of my parents was beautifully restored by Amy and her team, who were also very patient with my many 'radio silences' over several weeks. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Memories need caring for, after all.

Yet again we have turned to Photographs Forever to help create a montage of 160 images (some of questionable quality) for a 50th Wedding Anniversary gift to ourselves. High Resolution Scans, Cropping, Optimisation, Contact Sheets, Manipulation of certain images, all resulting in three Bespoke Photo Montages on Poly Cotton Floating Canvas, each stretched on a wooden frame and UV coated. Our contact was Amy (although we know its a team effort and several others were involved) and she kept us informed at every stage, making suggestions that we have come to rely on and be guided by and responding to any requests we made. It felt as if a friend guided us through the whole process resulting in a unique product that we are so pleased to have mounted on our wall. We said on a previous review that we would use Photographs Forever again and after this i can't see us going anywhere else. Thank you.

I am very happy with the photo. It looks authentic to the time (1918) and is now perfectly clear.

Excellent restoration of a very old Army photo from WW1 by Amy and Richard. They were able to tweak the final result for the best effect and all this was done quickly and with good communication.

Very prompt and friendly service, on this occasion to remove an object from a modern photograph to be used in a publication. A new background was needed for the amended area, and this was indistinguishable from the surroundings - excellent.

They were very quick to respond, and very helpful - and I had no qualms in entrusting a treasured family photo, more than 100 years old, to them. The result was perfect, and has given new life to the photo. My children were thrilled to be given a record of their great-great grandparents and their great-grandfather and his eight siblings.

Very simple & expertly handled experience from Amy @ Photographs Forever. This was a 20 year old hanging colour picture of my wife & I that had faded so badly it had become almost black & white. I had the negative which, although stored, had lost some of its glint. PF handled everything and the print came back as original to become the best Christmas present of them all, to steal the show. Great communication from Amy at every level of the process. The final photos after restoration were truly amazing, for photos over 100 years old. Brought tears as we saw our grandad as a proud young lad and our great grandad in uniform about to go off to fight in WWI. Yes, costs reduced how many photos we had fully restored, but the time and work put into the final selections are fully appreciated.
