I have been using CBD oil to support my dog Penny after she broke her leg in an accident and required fancarpal arthrodesis to stabilise the leg.

After surgery she was on alot of pain killers and I was keen to not have these longterm if possible. She was doing well with rehab aided with physio and hydrotherpay but just felt she was unconfortable espcailly after a walk.

Spoke with lee who was really knowelsdage about guiding me into something i knew nothing about. And started with a dosage regime and noticed a difference in just a few weeks. She was more supple and not stiff after lying down for a while. We have continued her on and recently increase it slights due to her age and injury has a bit of arthritis settling in and feel happy to increase the doses to optamise her needs.

Highly recommend for anyone with anxious dogs... My 10yo pointer/lab was had started stopping an refusing to move on walks until turning round, she was confused was either withdrawn or stressed , panting and crying at night, we all thought this was the start of dementia. Increasing gabapentin seemed to make things worse, felt we’d tried every calmer but seemed to almost fight them. Tried cbd oil with her and in 4 weeks shes weaned off gabapentin completely. Shes seems happy again, not confused and for the first time in months did some zoomers around the park!
