I played piano as a teen. Lost the talent over years of not playing with no piano access. Joined PbP and now can play again. I have the ability to get so much PbP music and now playing more songs than ever.

With only a year with PBP I am able now to play songs with ,no prior lessons.Thanks to the expertise of all the insructors.

They are for their members and keep bringing new concepts and fun things to learn.

The instructors are all very pleasant and helpful. I have advanced quite a lot while I have been with them.

The instructors have varied experience. They inspired me to love music and practice. The classes are fun.

Piano by pictures is an excellent and fun way to learn the piano. Dr. Kelly, all the teachers, and staff are excellent! I am 70 and I learning a lot. I have been with Piano by Pictures for 10 months and I can play songs, use inversions, and arpeggios. I am enjoying this program and would recommend it to everyone!!

I have been a member of Pianobypictures for 1 1/2 years and I love the experience I have had. I started with no skills in piano or in music and now I can play most songs that are provided. I love the community it provides and the instructors that have been so great! I would highly recommend this program for anyone who wants to learn piano easily!

Love the website that gives you step by step instructions on how to play a song using pictures! No need to know how to read the musical staff. Videos walk you through the song. Teaches you chords and melody. Dr. Kelly and his staff are great at responding to my questions. Well worth the money.

Has taught me things I was never taught when I was took lessons as a child. Gets started right with songs

I have learned so much. I couldn't play piano and now I can play about 20 songs.

I’ve taken this course for over a year. It’s been amazing!! You start with letter notes and chords I could play songs quickly with practice. but now I’m starting to read notes!! I took traditional classes before but didn’t learn much or get where I wanted to be. Now I can honestly say if you dedicate to practice you can learn with this method . I’m playing songs I never dreamed I’d play with technique I never even knew existed!!

In Dec 2025, while beginning chemo treatments I ordered the Piano books. I emailed RYAN KELLY and let him know that I was not able to commit to a subscription at the moment. I paid for the books and never even read them. In March my bookkeeper informed me that PAINObyPictures had been taking a monthly payment of $37 on my credit card. I never authorized that monthly payment, not sure how that happened. I called PbyP and spoke to a very rude and disrespectful CS rep named Scott. He was condescending as well and would not even consider my situation. He offered on month refund and cancelled the subscription. I am so disappointed and think they are running a scam by forcing subscriptions on innocent naive parties like my self.
Buyer beware wish I never ordered the books. Perhaps it was chemo brain but I have no recollection of authorizing payment.
I would like a full refund since I never used any of the materials. Please advise

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I saw their ad, was curious and purchase a book for $12.87. They shipped the book but then billed me $37 per month after that. When I called to tell them I did not sigh up for any monthly service they claimed they could only refund the past 30 days. They ended up scamming me for $111.

The premise sounds interesting. Play piano by watching graphics lined up with the piano keys.
We tried it and did not like it.
Then, a forty dollar a month subscription kicked in. I believe it was snuck by us. It was not observable during order for the first books to test.
