Perfect! Best pies I've had in the northern hemisphere. Delivery was great - just popped them in the freezer until we needed one

Pies were excellent.
We froze them & reheated- they were so tasty :-)
Great packaging with freeze blocks & insulation.
Parcel force poor as abandoned delivery on doorstep without ringing doorbell.

They are good quality pie the best I've had in years

Fillings were far superior to any pies I have ever had before. Just felt the heating instructions a little bit short of detail. Pie was hot but I felt it needed to be slightly hotter. When I have the next one I will use one setting hotter on the oven.
Next time I used gas reg 5 instead of 4. Did not alter cooking time. This did work well for me.

Pastry excellent and ample filling. We first tried pork and apple,really hardly any taste and rather dry. Will see how we go with the rest later.

I fondly remembered this shop from a visit to Lochinver a few years back.
I ordered 12 pies. The pies arrived in perfect condition, slightly earlier than I expected. They were well packaged in a chilled box with frozen ice packs and lagged with wool.
Each pie is in a foil tray, sealed in a clear plastic bag, in its own clearly labelled individual cardboard box.
We have tried the Chicken, haggis and pepper, Chicken and ham and the Smoked Haddock pies. All are absolutely delicious. I haven’t tried the Chestnut and mushroom pies yet. These are individual pies, packed with filling and with a lovely light pastry. A generous serving for one person.
I would highly recommend them.

First time we've ordered these pies and as soon as the order arrived (on the date specified) you could tell from the quality and care that had gone into the packaging that this was a company that took a pride in its products. I froze the bulk of the order, but kept back a couple of pies, which we had at the weekend..... and they were excellent, absolutely delicious, packed full of quality tasty filling, and the pastry had a lovely flavour. Looking forward to trying the other ones. Would highly recommend.

The pies were full to delicious ingredients I gave some away to family and friends as Mr burns oot the Simpsons would say excellent

Well packaged.Dispatched on time, easy to track. 48hr window for delivery cannot be adjusted, so it's useful to suggest delivery option if at last minute you're not at home.

After visiting Lochinver Larder whilst on holiday in September, we just had to try the ‘pies by post’ and they did not disappoint! Just as delicious as when bought from the shop.

Fantastic tasty pies, filled to the brim. Good selection of meat and vegetarian options. Delivered promptly in eco friendly packaging by a lovely man from parcelforce (Brian). What's not to like?

My son & friends were amazed how full of meat & moist the pies were. The pastry light & tasty we will be ordering more again just loved them. We had chicken curry, steak & Ale plus Venison & Cranberry - Absolutely delicious!
The dessert pies were excellent too, so big I actually cut them in half and shared because by the time you add cream or ice cream there was plenty. Thank you
