I was just at the McCalla location.
I'd been on the road for several days and nothing was going right for me at all.
Your manager whose name is Shay not only made my visit pleasant by being friendly, she was also very professional and respectful despite my negative attitude due to being in a motorhome with my family.
I can't say enough about management and staff.
If there were more stars to give they'd have them all.

Aron and Scott both were very amazing on the walk in. They help me with so much. Please give them a raise.

Pilot/Flying J is a trash truck stop in Hammond, LA. I was sleeping in my truck on my 34 hour break when there trash man came and banged on my door and woke me up asking do I have a ticket I said to him I don’t need a ticket in a free parking space then he said I was not in one I said what do you mean I’m right across from the other free parking he said only the one’s across from me was free the rest you have to pay this place is small and they have more paid parking then free parking one of the many reasons why I hate pilot flying j truck stop I get better taken care of by loves truck stops then pilot. Also loves points system is a hell of a lot better then Pilot and this pilot I will never come here again it’s just a shitty place to be at period!!

I witnessed a very uncomfortable situation this morning around 7:20 a.m. at the 1440 Puyallup Ave
Tacoma, WA 98421 Pilot location. A man and woman entered the store, and the woman who had a boot on her foot politely asked to use the restroom. The three employees behind the counter immediately questioned whether they had purchased fuel before allowing her access.

The man, who appeared to be with her, became understandably upset by how they were being treated. Even after he paid for coffee, the interaction remained tense and came across as disrespectful. At one point, an employee offered him a free cup, but the way it was presented made him feel as though he was being accused of doing something wrong. He responded that he did not want anything for free and did not want to be treated as if he were stealing.

From my perspective, the situation felt like profiling and unfair treatment toward two individuals who did not appear to deserve that kind of response. After they left, police arrived, and the employees were laughing, which made the situation feel even more inappropriate and unprofessional.

I work across the street at the casino, and after witnessing this, I do not feel comfortable returning to this location. This type of behavior reflects poorly on the business and should be addressed.

We left New Orleans early afternoon, February 18, 2026, heading east on I-10. After making a gas stop at the Pilot in Moss Point, MS we went to dinner then returned to the Pilot to settle in for the night, boondocking in our Class B. Please note they have 2 HR parking signs posted all around the auto parking lot. About 12:30 am we were woken by Pilot employee, Bobby, who told us we had to leave. He said we had overstayed our welcome and that "ALL Pilots have a new rule, only 2 hours parking. No overnight stays." We packed up and left, continuing east to Buc-ees at Loxley, AL. I’d like to say if the 2 HR parking restriction for all Pilot and Flying J’s is true, what’s the point of using their facilities. Those of us who choose them as a safe haven for overnights will be better served at more RV friendly businesses like Loves or Buc-ees.

So if you are going to do construction to update your store that’s fine but let’s think ahead a little bit there is no showers for truck drivers the same people that spend millions in your stores fuel food merchandise but you can’t seriously take our showers away and you have done that due to your construction I was told it would be a month before they get the stuff to finish the showers a month are you kidding me how about we take your showers away for a month and see how you would react at least leave five or so open before construction but a half hour time limit on them it’s all good your updating the stores but don’t say thank you drivers when you turn around and take the only thing we don’t have out here to stay clean in the showers we can’t wait a month or longer for the company your going through to get the showers going it’s ridiculous you know it is so fix it you can you own the stores do something about it it’s the one in Jamestown New Mexico yeah the big one that has over 150 parking and not a single one of us has a shower so fix the issue think ahead thanks a over the road driver

Flying J is my go-to for fuel. The staff there is always attentive. Great space for parking and gas pumps. The employee, Dawn is super helpful and friendly. Prices and deal there are great for my cigarettes.

They have the best baked chicken i have eaten in years. Taste like my granny made it, or should I say a old school recipe. Either way I give this chicken a 20 🌟 its Delicious and juicy and the spices are hitting just right. Thank you sweet lady for all the cooking that you do.. My name is Rachel Griner. I was an employee of the Pilot on Madison hgwy in the deli. I was fired for stealing their food. Now when u cook there u have atime out time, and what time we take fresh food up and literally throw everything away that was on the floor.. Im not sure if you are aware of the food they throw away, but trust me they could feed a lot of hungry people with it. So, once I would pull the food to throw away I would take it to the back and instead of putting it in the trash, inwould wrap ot home and take to people who was hungry. I did not profit from it, but I did feed people. U can cameras and im provise u everything was timed out and goin in the trash. Now, yes I should have asked but I honestly on everything I am did not think she would have me arrested for 6 felonies counts of shoplifting. Thats 6000 do u know how much food I would have had to taken out. But the good news is its drop to 1 misdemeanor shoplifting. So, as u guys read this watch the tape. And macaroni n cheese was fixing to b thrown out. It was the end of the night, ma'am. I never stole nothing like she implied.b

This place should honestly be ashamed of calling itself a Pilot. The atmosphere is hostile, the service is disgusting, and the employees act like basic customer service is some kind of personal attack.

The staff here are rude beyond belief especially toward truck drivers. It’s like they forget we’re the reason this place even exists. Instead of helping, they snap, yell, and treat you like you’re a problem just for walking in.

Only 3 showers, by the way. So if you were hoping to shower anytime soon, don’t get your hopes up. You’ll be waiting forever. My best advice? Use the app and stay in your truck, because going inside is just inviting unnecessary stress from miserable people with terrible attitudes.

And the “waiting area”? Absolute comedy. Two tables, a few chairs, and somehow they still manage to scream at you if you stand anywhere nearby. There’s no space, no comfort, and apparently no common sense either.

I came in simply trying to find a part I needed, and got treated like garbage for no reason.

If you hate your job this much and can’t handle speaking to people with basic respect, then don’t work in customer service. Stay home. Nobody deserves to be spoken to like that over something so simple.

This location is toxic, unprofessional, and an embarrassment. Pilot seriously needs to clean house here. Avoid unless you enjoy being yelled at and disrespected

I had someone use my Debit card at 2 of the pilot stations one in Hobbs NM , Lost Hills Calf. for over $620.00 for fuel i called there office to let them know and they wouldn't even lesson to what i had to say. The only way someone can inter my debit card number without my card is if they have a employee interring it manually they wouldn't even take the dates or my information. So just be aware Pilot's are letting people do this.

This Truck Stop Is The Place Where I Got The Best Brazilian Coffee Ever. The Staff Is Extremely Helpful, They Genuinely Do Southern Hospitality. I Highly Recommend All Traveling To Stop By Today. 1501 jack tone road ripon,CA. The employees there are not responsible alot of trailers are droped there from weeks. No one care about it ..Reserved parkings are almost full but on your pilot app they show they have empty spaces if we complait about it to their staff no one take it serious they work their like they take salary from drivers to drop trailers .. i have videos and pictures everything … I request management to take action.. that thing happens everyday here

This store is horrible it always smells like weed! The cashiers never have a personality always slow lazy as hell! I went to shower rhw towels smelt like they use no soap being in there today was the worst experience ever!!!! I will never go back

Stopped off to get gas put in my card press fill authorized Select Grade put the nozzle in my tank filler nothing happens I get go see cashier I go see cashier ask her why my transaction was canceled she says no record of it I go okay can you reset the pump please she does not seem to like that I get a whatever answer go back outside fill up the car $52 check my bank account there is a $200 on hold from Flying J my bank says funds will be released on Friday WTF Flying J I will never ever put foot on your property again

while visiting this place, there were no cashiers in the store around 5:45 in the morning I had to search for help. And when I did find some, she walked as slow as possible across the store. Took her sweet old time, trying to scan my items and gave me attitude about the cash I paid with. This experience overall was horrible and I would not recommend this gas station to anyone.

Just purchased fuel at pump 10 Flying J 3105 Doyle Road
New Haven Indiana 46774 and a fraudulent charge happened just after we left at the same location Pilot. When we scanned our credit card it required a swipe rather than touch which was odd as well.
