Very low standard of care given to clients. Carers gave 10 mins max personal care then sat in another room playing on their phones for the remainder of the 60 min call until leaving. This happened with 50% of carers and clients.

No basic training put into practise, lifting clients up in a bed via under arm approach, instead of using a slip sheet or the palm on shoulder and back technique, even on a paralysed client.

New carers sent out to shadow without meeting anyone in office prior, no PPE given and to an area which they wouldn't be covering. Hostile carers who were meant to help with shadowing, yet gave no assistance.

Sara steady used on clients to move from room to room, which isn't safe to do.

No communication, conversing or concern from carers to clients, one client had a bed sore, carers just put a pad on, no cleansing or care, they agreed to leave it for the public nurse to sort.

Platinum care encourage carers to not wear uniform, as to give clients discreation with calling to their homes, yet agency charges 15e from first payment for uniform.

No fuel allowance given for shadowing completed, even though promised.

Very bad pay rate for a Sunday, none for a Saturday.

The worse agency experience ever.

Martin Hayes gave me a job in the Kildare/Wicklow area on merit. That is, I could not drive,was 65 and had a disability. The confidence he showed in me was very much appreciated..Most other Care companies would not have even considered offering me a position because of my above predicament. That aside, the company is great to work for like having friendly staff and Co workers. Their pay and conditions are also excellent. I would recommend them to potential staff and clients.
