From time of purchase of the exam to completion the emails were informative on how to register and what to expect on test day in terms of what you need, allowed and system checks to ensure testing from home could be accommodating. This intern let me test when I was ready and not have to wait for a facility to be open for me to test.

I had an excellent experience with the Project Management Institute (PMI). The PMP certification process was well structured, professional, and valuable. The resources and standards provided by PMI helped strengthen my knowledge of project management, leadership, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and both Agile and traditional approaches. Earning my PMP certification is an important milestone in my professional development, and I highly recommend PMI to project management professionals who want to advance their careers.

I would actually rate my experience a 4.6 out of 5 rather than a 4. My main reason for not giving it a full 5 is the time allowed for the exam. It’s already a stressful test, and I felt like I had to rush through the questions just to make sure I answered everything. I’m a slower reader, and being nervous made it even harder to move through the questions quickly while still feeling confident in my answers.

I finished with only about four minutes left to review roughly the last 80 questions, so I really didn’t have an opportunity to go back and review my answers the way I would have liked. Having a little more time would have made the experience much less stressful and allowed me to focus more on the questions rather than constantly worrying about the clock.

Other than the actual testing experience, everything on the website leading up to the exam went smoothly. I had no issues accessing the materials or completing the required steps, and that part of the experience was very good overall.

The overall experience from PMI for the PMP exam was seamless. I appreciate how clear the process was from start to finish.
