I brought my grandad into practice plus for a pre op appointment today in Gillingham and we were both very impressed by the care he received. We would like to make a special mention to Val who was amazing, so kind and caring and took her time to ensure my grandad felt at ease. She is truly a credit to the nursing profession and we are so grateful for how comfortable she made my grandad feel today.

Excellent care, lovely nurses and all the staff, and an excellent orthopaedic surgeon, Mr Toth. I couldn’t have asked for better care throughout.

We were greeted by very friendly staff who were very informative the nurse who took us through the procedure whose name was Val was professional and answered all our questions

The venue was clean and welcoming, with good parking including disabled spaces. Welcoming person on reception. The appointment was carried out professionally and on time.

Had a partial knee replacement at barlborough.Only been home a day,it's painful to say the least,but have to thank everyone at the hospital.EVERYONE at the hospital deserves credit for the care I received,top class service ,professional, with a bit of humor thrown in at times.Cant praise everyone enough and can't remember all the names,but Jane,who cared for us on the ward during the day,is such a wonderful person.Abbie,the physio,too.Sorry if I haven't named the people I met,but want to offer my thanks to everyone there for their caring, compassionate, professional attitude.The team there is absolutely fantastic,keep it up guys,you do a fantastic job.Thank you all so much ,John

Sandra and Kelly the nurses were lovely, the doctor performing the endoscopy was so nice, all the theatre team too.

Efficient, on time, friendly and informative.

This was my second total hip replacement, so I was more aware what to expect this time around albeit at a different hospital.
What I perhaps wasn’t expecting was just how friendly, caring and even funny all the staff were, all of the time. I was always made to feel special, despite it being a busy ward. Professional skills were exemplary, and so were their people skills. Not often, in any trade, do you find a whole department that excel in both
My consultant was so detailed and explained everything at a level to match my understanding. The surgery went so well, it was only less than two days ago but I feel little pain and walk well with crutches
I will recommend very highly this hospital to anyone seeking a joint replacement

This was a true 5-star experience. My 90 year old Mum was able to book an appointment to have pain-relief injections in both knees. The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful and kind. The injections were administered quickly and efficiently and my Mum did not experience any pain or discomfort throughout the whole procedure.

What you see is what you get. Staff are always helpful,smiling and polite. Nice, clean and airey surroundings. Never stressful.

THE PROCEDURE AND RAPID RECEIPT OF THE REPORT WERE EXCELLENT.
The way I was called for the procedure was most unsatisfactory. I eventually connected with the nurse some 25 minutes after my appointment time She rather rudely asked me if I had gone outside. I said that I had been in the same seat in the waiting area since !0am. She said that she had called me twice, adding that she was renowned for her loud voice!That is as maybe, but the fact that she stood at the farthest end of reception is inadequate for people like me with hearing deficits. I was also surprised not to be offered, or given help to get on and off the couch. Given that I have a major mobility issue I think this is sub par.

The nurses are absolutely fabulous take time to deal with you with so much care. Thank you all so much my operation was made very comfortable and everyone involved was nice

The folly brook cafe staff have to be the rudest i have ever had the misfortune to come across, i would not recommend this place to anyone and will than happy to have an in depth conversation about it to someone with a brain cell

Friendly efficient staff , only had to wait a few days for initial consultation and 2 weeks for actual procedure.

Everybody we came into contact with from the moment we entered the building has been attentive, personable and very reassuring.

All the staff at the Gillingham Kent branch were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish, they really made the experience very welcoming and positive.
I was worried as this was my first anaesthetic procedure and the staff put my mind at ease and tried to help in every way they could, I was out and awake again before I even knew it.
Very happy with my experience, was talked through all the aftercare and everything went smoothly, even had tea and biscuits after which was a lovely treat!

Amazing experience. Really well looked after for the 3 days mum was in. Staff were patient, kind, friendly and professional. Adi, Donna, Richard, Claire and Paul with his tea trolley looked after us. They all made mum feel at ease and we both enjoyed the food!
