I regret choosing Prime South Africa Insurance. In my experience, they have been very unprofessional and appear to use low-quality service providers for vehicle repairs.

I was involved in an accident on 28 June 2026, and the damage to my vehicle was relatively minor. However, as of today, my car has still not been repaired. I was informed that I would receive my vehicle on 2 September 2026, but on 1 September I received a call advising that the vehicle was still in the wash bay.

Communication has been extremely poor throughout this process. The only time I received feedback was after posting a review on HelloPeter.

When I contacted NMS Auto Body in Polokwane, I was informed that Prime South Africa had ordered the wrong radiator. This was confusing because I had previously been told that the radiator had already been fitted weeks earlier.

Based on my experience, Prime South Africa does not communicate effectively with clients, does not seem concerned about customer service, and does not take customer feedback seriously. I would advise potential customers to consider these issues before choosing this insurer.

Very disappointed with this insurance company. I paid my premiums expecting professional service and support when I needed it most, but my claim has been a frustrating experience. Excessive delays, poor communication, and substandard repair work have left me without my vehicle for months. I honestly do not see the value of what I have been paying for. I would not recommend this insurer based on my experience.

WORST INSURANCE EVER

THIS INSURANCE SELLS PEOPLE LIES THIS INSURANCE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN .

THEY PROMISE CLIENTS THE WORLD ON THE CALLS TO MAKE A SALE BUT NEVER DELIVER.

I HAD SMALL ACCIDENT THEY DID NOT EVEN COVER THE TOWING THE TOWED MY CAR KEPT IT IN STORAGE AND THEN CHARGED ME R5600 JUST TO TAKE MY CAR OUT AFTER ONE DAY OF STORAGE.

UNLESS CONSULTANT'S AND EVERY CONSULTANT SAYS SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

NEVER CHOOSE PMD INSURANCE YOU WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TRUST ME THEY NEVER DELIVER I WISH I NEVER JOINED THEM AND WASTED MY HARD EARNED MONEY .

A client of PMD rammed into me. I submitted all required documents weeks ago. I am being given the run around. No reply to emails, incompetent staff, lies. Im now forced to go legal. Becareful before taking insurance with this company!!!!

They might be cheap /affordable car insurance just know you will have to work hard with lots of stress and depression so that you vehicle is repairs.

I mean car insurance should be convenient making you life much easier right? Wrong. The cheap premium should be a red flag so dont fall for that ,i had a accident around Good friday the lower bumper and radiator was damaged. I was so happy when they called me to notify that my claim was approved,not knowing that HE•L•L will break loose.

A damage that takes a week or 2 weeks took almost two months . And 2 months just to install an OIL COOLER . Its been delays after delays after delays .They themselves are making Mistakes on ordering parts they order wrong parts ,These people are terrible im even afraid that my vehicle wherever its at is not safe chances are its been worn down cos its just gathering dust.

Previously Prime Meridian Direct (PMD) They dont even update you on the process you need to call them to find out how far is the repairs ,Dont be fooled by the positive reviews i think those reviews are for minor services people recieved like you towning jump starting at which they do help out but as for serious problems like accidents you will not get the help you expect to get for the years youve been paying insurance.

I’ve laid a Complain about their service its like ive made things worse because nothing is done the delays becoming more and more excuses becoming more and more

,I remember my High school friend having such bad service from PMD in 2014/15. Back then i didnt take what was happening serious and i didnt know much about how Car insurance worked untill when i got older and wiser i guess i was not wise enough because i chose trouble in the name of wanting cheaper premiums.

Trust me stay away from these people today is the 1st of July my vehicle has not been repaired but yet im still paying for premiums for a vehicle thats not in my position ,is it even allowed .

Dont waste your money actually dont waste you mental health on these people.
Ive learnt the hard way that affordable car insurance no Cheap car insurance you going to get cheap service.
