We had an absolutely brilliant day today with Kyri as our driver. Not only was he an excellent driver, but also a fantastic entertainer, sharing fun trivia and sprinkling it with just the right amount of humor. During the 12 hours we spent with him touring the Cotswolds and Oxford, there wasn’t a single dull moment. He also gave us great recommendations at every stop and even took us to a local pub where we had dinner — one we never would have found on our own. Kyri is simply amazing!

Mark McQueen was our driver, from Private Tours of England. He was exceptional in every way. He got us around to every single site that we wanted to see, made sure we were always comfortable and well informed. He narrated what we were passing by, all along the way. He made sure we got coffee in the morning and water throughout the day. We had so much fun!
Our daily specialist guides were just exceptional, especially Mike Heaton who guided us through Stonehenge and Salisbury town and cathedral, and Lori Fisher, who showed us Trafalgar Square, Westminster Cathedral and Buckingham Palace.
We could not be happier! We feel like we made the most of our time in London, thanks to the expertise and warmth of the people from Private Tours England. They were lovely, knowledgeable, warm folks. Wonderful ambassadors for England!

We immediately connected with our driver Mark McQueen. He was beyond amazing! So thoughtful always checking on us and always went above and beyond. I cannot say enough positive things about him. Absolutely amazing … 5 plus star rating!

Our tour guide Mike in Stonehenge was also amazing. Being a retired archaeologist. He knew so much and with his amazing presentation he made our tour so interesting and fun!!

Our tour guide Lori in London made Buckingham Palace and West Minster Abby so enjoyable. Her presentation and knowledge of history made our tour so interesting and fun!!

Fantastic day with Kyrie. Incredible knowledge, great suggestions and a tremendous amount of fun. We could not have asked for a better person to spend the day with in the Cotswalds and beyond. Highly recommend Kyrie for a wonderful time in the UK!

Graham was our guide and did an amazing job. While driving he gave tons of facts and had a wonderful personality. Walked us around Hampton Court. Highly suggest not only the tour to Windsor castle and Hampton court but request Graham.

We enjoyed our full day private tour including stops at Windsor Castle, Highclere Castle and Stonehenge. The tour company arranged private tour guides for Windsor Castle and Stonehenge. We did Highclere on our own and it worked out just fine. Our driver, Kyri, was phenomenal. He was engaging, knowledgeable and filled with funny stories. It made for a delightful day. When we go back to London, we will definitely look him up for another whirlwind tour day.

My family used PTE for a vacation across England July 2025. I cannot say enough what a great experience we had from start to finish. Megan helped plan our tour and she worked with us on ideas we had to make it more personal. She was very prompt in getting back and her video phone call was so good to have as well as the itinerary she sent with maps and the daily schedule. Our group consisted of just our family but included a person in their 80s (with a broken foot!) and a teen, so we were not the easiest group;) Sandie helped with our payments and was able to divide them up as we wanted. And lastly, Peter was our driver. We absolutely loved Peter. He made our trip the best. He went above and beyond every day to make sure we were getting to see all we could and he really looked out for us. Thank you PTE! I’ve been raving about how great you all are ever since we got back.

Our tour guide was Calvin. He was great. We spent 3 days touring London and the surrounding area. He was informative and enjoyable! I would highly recommend him.

What a wonderful day. We enjoyed several towns in the Cotswolds at our own pace. Shane was a wonderful host. I would recommend him again and again. He advised us where to meet him in each town- and he was always available if we were ready to leave early or stay for a bit longer.

He was an enjoyable, confident and capable driver. Kim and I both felt very well taken care of. We both have some physical issues and he was a strong arm and presence to make us feel comfortable.

I truly wish he could drive us all over the UK and Europe.

I absolutely do not think you have a better person on your staff.

Calvin our driver guide was kind, courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. It was like traveling with a true friend!! Highly recommended!

Our Guide was Peter. Excellent! It was a memorable trip. The personal touch. Going out of the way to ensure everything is smooth. 2.5 weeks in June 2025.

We had a wonderful experience with Private Tours. From the itinerary planning to the tour itself, we felt well taken care of. We had a beautiful multi day tour of the Cotswolds and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Shane was very professional and went out of his way to make our tour special. He was great at getting us to locations before the large busses and even added some amazing extra stops along the way. We will definitely use Private Tours again the next time we’re in London!

Our trip was fabulous! Kyri did an amazing job taking care of us. He was very knowledgeable and told us lots of interesting facts for the area. He had peanut safe candy for my son and entertained us the entire trip. Margaret at Stonehenge was so kind and knowledgeable. We got so much out of our visit that we would not have gotten on our own. Stratford-upon- Avon was my absolute favorite. I loved the ease of the entire trip. Every detailed was handled and I didn't have to lift a finger. This was our splurge on this trip and it was well worth every cent. Thank you so much to your entire team for taking such great care of us through the entire process.

Peter was a wonderful guide for the day! He is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the entire area. Our day was well planned and we had lots of time to roam around each town and we had a lovely pub lunch thanks to Peter’s recommendation. We had a great day!

This was the perfect vacation from the planning stages to the flying home. We had knowledgeable people helping us prepare, helping secure hotel accommodations, drivers and tickets to all excursions. A lot of work went into this trip and we appreciate every person. Shout out to Emma, our planner, and Graham, our driver.

Calvin Allen was an exceptional guide and driver. His knowledge of history, the landscape, monuments, and politics was far beyond our expectations.
We saw everything of note from London to Stonehenge and then to Bath, Cotswold and Oxford. Just wonderful.

We had such a wonderful time touring the various towns in England with Peter. Peter was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable with all the history and shared anecdotes that made them interesting. Very charming and always patient (there were 7 of us) and punctual. By end of trip it’s like going on a trip with a family member.

Thank you too to Darius for bringing us around London city sights when we returned from Paris on our last day. You were way better than doing the hop on hop off bus tours. Always smiling and cheerful.

Thank you too to Sandhie and Laura for arranging this wonderful trip for us in England and Paris. Everything was professionally done, not a hiccup at all during our 18 day trip. When we had an issue with the hotel we booked in London, you were a life saver in getting us another hotel so quickly. And arranging transport with Ewa to bring us to our hotel. Ewa was such a delightful and bubbly personality.

Thanks also to Sandhie and Laura for planning this trip with us a year in advance. They were so helpful even during a tough time in London, they quickly booked us a hotel at the last minute. We also had a great time on our Paris tour!
