As an international student, securing funding for graduate studies can be extremely challenging, and I’m truly grateful that Prodigy Finance made it possible for me to pursue my degree. The application process was fairly smooth, and the fact that no co-signer or collateral was required was a huge relief. Their platform is user-friendly, and the customer service team was responsive and helpful whenever I had questions.

That said, the Matching stage was quite stressful. It was difficult not knowing how long the process would take, especially since many other important steps — like visa preparation — depend on receiving a confirmed loan approval. A clearer timeline or regular updates would have made a big difference.

Overall, I appreciate the mission behind Prodigy Finance and the support it offers to international students. I hope the team continues to improve transparency in the process. I would still recommend Prodigy to those seeking accessible, no-cosigner education financing, while advising future applicants to start early and be prepared for possible delays in the approval timeline.

I had a bad experience with Prodigy and was very disappointed with the advice I received (Application Number:710011). I had been given an offer and a match, and I paid the $500 processing fee. However, one of the advisors misled me, which caused me to lose my match — and of course, the $500 along with it.

I’m supposed to start my classes in September, and I now find myself without any funding, even though the school had already considered the offer and match I received from Prodigy. Naturally, I requested to be compensated and to have my match reinstated, but no one has called or responded to my request.

I’m outraged, and unfortunately, I would not recommend Prodigy to anyone. It seems to be a lost of time and money...

Very weak and unprepared customer facing professionals, only capable of answering basic questions. If you're going to take out a loan, you need the full details.

On top of that, when I did receive my loan "pre-contract" (I didn't even receive a final contract), there was conflicting information, which leads me to put very little faith in the Company's legal team. If there were other companies who offered international student loans I would 100% be evaluating other proposals.
