A seller has accused me of providing unfair feedback, the content of which amounts to an allegation of criminal misconduct and liable to criminal prosecution pursuant to The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 ( in force April 2025 ). The Act makes it illegal to submit or commission fake reviews that do not reflect a genuine experience. This applies to both fake positive and malicious negative reviews.
E bay agreed with his allegation because it has removed that feedback; without any prior consultation with me. Is that fair? Just to be clear I deny making any feedback allegation against the seller.

Neither the seller nor EBay has provided me with the alleged feedback.

More importantly EBay support has ignored my request for an explanation

Be careful when buying now on ebay as many of the items listed on ebay ARE FAKE not even real listings and when ebay informed of this - they just dont care.
Ebay.co.uk staring to become the biggest scam site of the UK allowing scammers to steal your time as well as your money.
No managers care and NO chance to talk to a manager as it seems ebay dont employ managers just careless idiots manning the phone lines.

I am a customer of ebay for nearly 12 years and first time it happened that item I purchased was not delivered to me I asked for refund and an ebay agent informed me to get in touch with Yodel (courier) for proof of delivery/ non delivery of item I informed the agent if Yodel can not provide me picture or signature as proof of delivery, would you accept this as non delivery item. The agent informed me no The agent will accept the delivery of item if the tracking record of Yodel states delivered. I think Yodel has delivered the item at wrong address The item was only about £7.00 but e bay is adamant to refund money. customers be careful

No obvious way of getting through to an ebay support person if you need help.

Seller fees are absolutely extortionate without an offer on them, ebay are making money for old rope hand over fist.

What can you say... it's eBay!

what a joke i have had to change my password 10 time this year ever thought they send me six digit code to my mobile to verify my account . but this is still not good enough they still make me change my password !

bought an item on ebay, I did not receive item contacted seller and opened a dispute. seller only gave a part refund and ebay closed the case tried contacting customer services but cant get through to a person , none of the options apply so it seams ebay refund policy is not true
