The service provided by PMA is well rounded and checks all the boxes. If you follow their methodology and material it is more than enough to get you through your PMP. I have already recommended it to others looking to obtain their PMP.

A friend of mine recommended me to attend PMA. I took the PMP Boot camp the same week I had scheduled my PMP test. I had already been studying on my own prior to taking the class so the topics were already familiar to me. I wanted to get a boost out of this class before taking the exam, especially the opportunity to take a mock exam and review the answers as a group, and this class did just that! I passed the exam on my 1st attempt. Dan Garza was my instructor. He is an excellent trainer, extremely professional and knowledgeable. He walked us through the material at a good pace (but remember... it's a boot camp, so it moves fast --- you need to be ready). Dan created a positive learning environment in which we were able to share our thoughts and related experiences. He welcomed all comments and questions. I honestly have nothing but positive feedback about Dan and the PMA. Oh, and the access to the material available on their web portal is phenomenal, they have flashcards, practice questions (which you can filer by process groups and knowledge areas), and a mock up exam. Thank you Dan for helping me achieve my goal!

The customer service interface at Project Management Academy (PMA) is the epitome of customer satisfaction. First, I must acknowledge Nancy for her professionalism, attention to details, and her depth of organizational knowledge. Second, I opted for in class training and PMA also provided access to their online portal for asynchronous learning. I was able to use the online resources for assessment before and after the class for exam readiness. After the bootcamp, there are free tutorials each Friday - led by different instructors. Regardless of who the instructor was, they would not close the session until all questions were answered and clarity confirmed.

Lastly, my instructor Gary Lind – he is one of the most remarkable persons I have ever met. Gary is a true professional who is passionate about facilitating growth in others. He brought a wealth of knowledge and real life experiences to the training session that was unparalleled to any training I have ever had. He seamlessly uses story telling to effectively communicate the training material – there was never a dull moment. In addition, he makes himself available to answer any post boot-camp questions. Under his tutelage, I passed my exam on the first attempt. Most of all, Gary is an indelible source of inspiration! I strongly recommend him to you if you are thinking of advancing your project management career.

The course was well designed and helped me prepare for the PMP exam. Trevor Noad, my instructor, was extremely knowledgeable and patient, ensuring all students were tracking the material. Although required in order to fulfill the requirements to take the PMP exam, I am very fortunate to have taken the Project Management Academy course as I feel it helped me focus my studying for the test. I will and have recommended the course for others looking to earn their PMP.

The PMA boot camp was exceptionally tailored for learning the PMBOK material. I highly recommend PMA for anyone seeking to pass the PMP exam.

I had the pleasure of taking courses in both the PMP and the PMI-ACP. PMP was in-class and the PMI-ACP was on-line during the covid event.

In-Person:
- Allows you to communicate more directly with other students
- Some materials are extra like flash drives with info on them

Web-based:
- Comfort of home and still real time with questions in chat box
- More focused and fewer distractions

I passed the PMP with their 97% - 100% pass guarantee but the trick is to do EXACTLY as they prescribe. You do the exams, follow their concepts and best practices and you'll make it. It's not automatic but they provide the road map and it DOES work.

Would strongly recommend to anyone serious about these certifications.

Took the in person weekend course with David Smyth in September 2020. Everything was clean and distanced. I knew I'd struggle to focus with an online course. I'm glad I did the in person! David was engaging and thorough and even though they were long days, they went by fast. I went into the course with absolutely zero education on formal Project Management processes. I took the PMP Exam a month later and passed on my first try with AT/AT/AT/AT/AT! Worth the money!

The course material was comprehensive and yet streamlined to the point of highlighting what the core topics to focus on should be. It provided a broad base of understanding while also getting real life applications from our instructor John Dokos. I would highly recommend the course for anyone that is anticipating sitting for the PMP certification.

I took the 4-day PMP prep course in March 2020 in Seattle with instructor Gregg Richie. The instructor and material was relevant and I was able to utilize the knowledge and skills gained to pass the exam on the first attempt.

If you are considering PMP exam preparation and are nervous about an online format - choose PMA. I recommend the PMA Bootcamp and Lenora H., who led the online course I took. I was nervous about taking an online 4-day boot camp course but in the days of COVID that was my best option and I believe PMA & Lenora has done it well! The boot camp was tough, being online, but Lenora did a great job leading the course. I took the weekend version - 2 weekends, Saturday and Sunday for 8 hours each day (after working full time during the week). Lenora was in touch with the ebbs and flows of being online for so long and keeping things engaging. All participants have the ability to contribute to the class via a chat and Lenora reads and engages with those chats. After the Bootcamp, Leora makes herself available for further questions via email. If I had a question about a topic or a missed practice exam question, I could email her and I think within a day she would respond!! Prior to my signing up to the Bootcamp, I emailed PMA and their responses were quick and generally helpful. Outside of the Boot Camp itself, the materials (all accessible online) provided by PMA were essential to my passing the PMP. PMA provides a roadmap of what one can do to study and prepare for the exam after the boot camp--this was what I needed. I took the online proctored exam yesterday and I passed.

NOTE:
It was my experience (and suggested by PMA), you do have to do the work of studying outside of just the Bootcamp to pass. If your expectations are different, maybe reconsider sitting for the PMP exam.

The content was comprehensive with great focus on strategies for studying, applying for, and taking the CAPM and PMP exams.

I took the class in January 2020, with Michael P. Toothman as the Instructor. He was fantastic, knowledgeable, entertaining, and held everyone accountable. He made the materials less dry. He even followed up with us a few months later to keep us motivated and assist if needed.

The PMA class was a great resource, the materials and practice test exams have been organized logically to help you understand and digest all the process and knowledge areas. The exam materials also allowed me to assess my competencies in all the areas to drill down where needed. Overall great experience, thanks again to Michael P. Toothman. I can't say enough about him as an instructor.

I passed the PMP exam!

Project Management Academy provided all of the training materials you could possibly need to pass the PMP. The trainer for the boot camp I attended, Crystal Richards, was really great at staying in touch to ensure you stick with the process and pass the exam.

I took the PMP bootcamp (virtual, since our in-person class was canceled due to Covid), M-Th. I scored well on their in-class practice test despite my very limited studying before the bootcamp - a testament to how thorough the bootcamp is. I scheduled the PMP exam the following Monday, studied weak areas over the weekend, and I PASSED the PMP exam “above target” in all areas. Their online study tools are invaluable. They have so much content- I don’t think I even reviewed a third of what they have to offer. The instructor Russ Thornley was attentive to class questions and really knew his stuff. The material can be very dry, but Russ did his best to keep it fun and engaging.
10/10 Would recommend this bootcamp to others.
