The coach helps my daughter for college applications. They are very thorough and always provide in-depth thoughts of the requirements. Although my daughter started a little bit late for essays, the coach managed time properly and ensured on time completion of all application materials before deadline. I highly recommend their service and definitely will consult them again.

Our experience with Prompt completely exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend their services. After going through the college admissions experience with 3 children, we thought we knew the process. However with this competitive market for admissions, we decided it was time to get help for our youngest son, and the high school counselor recommended Prompt. From the initial conversation, I was impressed. Our advisor offered excellent suggestions - she helped develop the essays and short answers by talking through with my son his accomplishments and strengths (coming up with perspectives we had not even considered), helped remove extraneous words, and made sure the essays were a finished product before she signed off on them. The results were impressive too - with the acceptances into highly selective universities. I believe it’s necessary for students to have this type of help when applying to college, and we highly recommend Prompt.
I’m sure all the advisors are qualified, but we were fortunate to have Jackie and she is phenomenal.

My writing coach consistently offered useful feedback on my essays which made me feel more confident in my applications. My coach was also considerate of the dates by which I wanted to apply, and helped me have complete applications on time.

The inital communication was great and the system they have with their platform is easy to navigate and good. However the quality of coaching and the written products that my daughter completed where subpar in my opinion for the amount of time my daughter spent (months) and the amount of money I spent (over $3K) was not worth it at all. It honestly seemed like an elementary school written assignment. I ended up having to pay for another writing company, which was more than 50% less than prompt, who were able to assist my daughter with her essays the right way and the quality was extremely better. Due your due diligence when deciding on this company.

Feedback was great and I really saw the progress in my writing and my applications. Mentors were great and friendly and always knew exactly how to help and how to not make me feel dumb during the experience, much to my content. I'm sure that my applications were helped and improved upon a ton.

My editor Katelyn was amazing, really communicative and she was insanely detail-oriented. When I gave her something I wanted to focus on, she prioritized my requests. Really appreciated how fast she got back to me, even during busy times.

Prompt was amazing! Before Prompt, my child struggled to “get deep” and show who he was in his essay writing. Prompt was the solution. They assigned him an A+ writing coach who talked to him about his life and experiences. Together, they worked on a plan, outline, and timeline, which made essay writing a breeze. The relief for both my child and myself was priceless. I strongly recommend Prompt!

I really appreciated Prompt's help and didn't think my application would be strong enough prior to Prompt. Feedback was returned quickly and was very detailed. I enjoyed working with my coach, Jess, since they were very detailed in explanations and clarifying rationale behind feedback/suggestions. I also appreciated that Jess is a writer, so I trusted their skills even more.

The service helped my student to complete all the essays (20+ schools) on time. The drafts were returned on time and promptly. There were some decent ideas and suggestions, albeit on the safer side. Not as much creative writing ideas from what I can see, although it is unclear whether creative writing would even make a difference in the application process. I would recommend it if you have a lot of essays to complete.

Prompt really brought out who I am in my personal essay. They helped me organize my thoughts and ideas for each essay and gave me helpful suggestions along the way. I applied early action to several schools that each had their own essay prompts and the quick feedback allowed me to meet the EA deadlines. I have been accepted to several great schools including the school that is one of my top choice. This was a great experience for me and I would recommend their service for anyone applying to colleges.

My daughter used prompt for help with her common app essay. I found the brainstorming assistance was extremely beneficial. She was able to identify main points then create an outline. The back and forth during the writing process worked for her as well. Having outside professional help took some of the pressure off at home.

Liked the initial meeting to brainstorm and outline of draft. Liked that response to drafts was fast, mostly a day or two after. Wish there were more virtual meetings to move things along more quickly. Mostly my son's fault in taking so long to submit drafts but he didn't know what to do when he felt stuck. Setting up more virtual meetings in the beginning would have helped him move faster and generate a momentum.

For my kid, this was perfect solution. He didn't need the hand holding experience from start to finish. I wanted him to have some independence in application choice and process, but knew he needed some support, and a PUSH. This was THE fit. I loved that I got notification when feedback was given, so if I WANTED, I could bug him to get back to work.

Beyond pleased—Prompt is exactly the service we were looking for! Everyone was so supportive and Margot produced wonderful comments and suggestions for our son. I also participated in some Zoom calls with my son and Margot and found them super productive. And if Margot was out sick, the Prompt team was responsive and other editors stepping in to provide feedback sooner for my son had high quality feedback as well.

I'm satisfied. Alex was great to work us through the process. The first couple of essays were the hardest since my daughter had never done something like it before, so the comments were very helpful to set her in the right direction, and it got easier once she learned the process.

Prompt was a wonderful resource for me as I was navigating the college application process, and I sincerely don't think I could have written so many college essays without them. My essay coach gave great feedback, was always available to meet within a week, and had super speedy turnaround on drafts (especially right before the deadline when I needed them most). Even when there were some minor issues with the website and I couldn't schedule another meeting, Prompt's application advisors were super helpful and solved the issue immediately. I'm super happy with my experience!

While their process took a little bit of time to get used to, they truly do help take your essays (great or terrible) and help turn them into college level content that you are proud to submit to colleges.
