Do not trust this Company at all. Where do I start....
Paid my deposit as you do all good so far.. I moved in August and by October, 1 of the rooms was very cold so looking about and trying to sort why so cold, I looked outside and noticed a brick was missing from the house at the side near the top. Not only was I getting all the elements of the weather but I was told birds were flying in and out too. I advised this company and it took nearly 6 weeks to sort it. Their original answer was ' ITS ONLY A BRICK!' I couldnt believe it.. still nothing..they then said, cant get hold of the materials to sort this problem so need to wait. Thought was only a brick I thought!! Whilst waiting I needed the heating on only for this to break and this took 2 weeks to sort. In this time I had to have my children not stay with me as I felt this was far to cold for them to stay here as it was I was sitting in the living room watching TV in my jeans, t shirt, jumper, Hoodie, coat, Scarf and hat, so they stayed with their mum. Once this was all sorted , not the quickest, (but why should they care as long as they get their money, tenant can wait) I contacted them to say could they knock some of the rent down that month as its been freezing and when I did have the heating what I could its was just leaving the premises so costing me a fortune, especially with the rates we were getting that year..Their words were, NOT A CHANCE.. NO. That was it .. no discussion a straight NO!
So with this in mind I was starting to think I need to leave here as they truly dont care but I still had 7-8 months left on my contract with them.
When I did hand in my notice, after living there 18 months, there was nothing wrong with the house as I had made the garden nice and spent alot of money doing so. The house was spotless and they even said all is good very happy and will sort the deposit back after a months notice, I said to them, so I need to live here another month then move out and will get my deposit then? Yes he said.. Great... Well that month past and did they pay me my FULL DEPOSIT BACK.....COURSE THEY DIDNT!! They originally offered me under half of my deposit. I refused of course wanting my full deposit. I was then threatened by them saying 'This was their last offer and if you dont accept you will get even lower' .... so as I worried on this I accepted but shouldnt of done... My advise to you guys, my opinion is stay clear.. do not use them , certainly do not trust them..they are money grabbing company.. Might be all nice talking to you and meeting you but will soon turn , trust me... You have been warned!!
