I would never use as the fuel station again because of the £99 hold they put on your account and then when you call them up to tell them to sort it out because it’s on there for quite some time they tell you there’s nothing they can do for that reason I will never use as the fuel station again customer service is pretty useless

ASDA self service petrol station Blyth Northumberland have held my £99 for five days now. It's supposed to be 24 - 48 hours maximin. So £13.02 worth of diesel on the 28th march has cost me £112.02 up to now. Lucky I have enough money in my account to cover it but for anyone who hasn't got £99 they don't need for as long as ASDA decide to keep it that could be the difference between eating and not eating. ASDA when can I have my £99 back please.

EDIT >> The £99 pending transaction is refunded but five days is too long to wait for it. They take it instantly but take one working week to repay it. Imagine how much interest they make on millions of £99 pending transactions. .

The worst management is at this store. A bunch of cowboys.
The customer service to them does not mean anything. One of their driver took diesel from my petrol station Tollgate Service Station BR2 6DQ. Her card was declined by the card issuer. Since 29 Sep 2023, I have made several attempts to get this outstanding amount paid but to no avail. It is rather impossible to speak to someone in their head office because there are no facilities to do so. How can you run such a company is beyond my understanding. I have written to the CEO but haven't had a reply yet. I will ban all Asda vans to use my petrol station from now on. I am very frustrated and angry at this poor customer services and complaint procedure.
Pathetic is the right word. They do not even deserve 1 Star but there is no other option.

The lunch deal (get cheapest free) is confusing to customers and deliberately so I suspect. Customers expect a lunch deal to contain the standard 3 items for a fixed price. My daughter ended up paying close to £5 for a drink and a sandwich. Crisps were free at 80p

There are no guaranteed benefits to this program, only a monthly prize draw you may not win.
Will be trying it out anyway to see if it's worth it.
