I did this course in October for two weeks i feel the trainers were really good, gave you help and reassurance when needed. The first week was busy with models and plenty of hands on experience as a team of two. Second week was totally different because we got to cut models hair on our own which I was really looking forward to but due to having to share models there wasn't enough models to go round so you only probably did one hair cut in the morning and then you could be waiting until the afternoon for another model before you cut hair again but we was told this would be like a barber shop if we worked in a barber shop, but the difference is we've paid a thousand pound to do the course and in a barber shop you're waiting for clients to come in to make money, so for that reason I wouldn't say this course is worth a thousand pound. For a thousand pound I would expect a better structure and a consistent flow of models, so I would be cutting hair from 9-5. Nevertheless due to the first week it was a good experience and i would probably rate the course 5/10. (Edit)

First week I missed a day due to a parking issue which we spoke about and I spoke to my partner and she did three haircuts that day, so I missed out on 1 and a half cuts that day. And i was looking at how other people was doing their haircuts in between models sitting in my chair, the first week of doing that was fine, by the second week everyone was on their phones not just me. The dolls heads got brought out in the second week which felt like a steps backwards and i think they was brought out as more of a time filler rather then a learning experience due to the lack of models coming in. I only started leaving early in the second week because of the lack of cutting i didn't spent a £100 a day to watch people cut. i can look that up on youtube for free. And the second day i missed was on the last day which I gathered through the week that it would be slow. I haven't lied about one thing I'm just letting people know what they could potentially be spending a £1000 on.

I joined Quarters Barber Academy last week, I was very anxious to come into something I’d never done before and around people I didn’t know…but the two teachers Jake and Jordan made me and the rest of the class feel very comfortable. Last week I didn’t even know how to hold clippers or scissors properly now I feel confident using both. The trims I’ve been producing have massively surprised myself but wouldn’t have been able to do it without the brill teachers, If you’re looking to do a barbering course I would 1000% reccomend this course, worth every penny. India <3
