We spent several months researching DSTs and the DST process and were very grateful for all the data, advice and patient answering of our many questions by Jacob and Drew.

We recently closed on the sale of our multifamily property and we could not have asked for better service and response during the hectic 45-day window imposed by the 1031 exchange process. We have now closed on multiple DSTs and would not have felt comfortable doing so had we not been able to have some pretty serious questions answered and some very detailed data made available to us. Including one-on-one phone meetings with Sponsors when needed.

We have other family members with income property and based on our experiences, they intend to trust Realized with their upcoming 1031 Exchanges as well.

Realized put together my transaction from inception to completion, by matching me with a secondary market buyer and a suitable replacement property DST. Drew, Sam, and Beth all worked together to make it a seamless transaction, and were always available to respond to questions, however technical or trivial the questions were. The team handled everything professionally from the beginning to the end. I look forward to future transactions with Realized.

I'm not sure if I could have had a better experience. We met on zoom and from the beginning all my questions were answered. I do have a financial background and experience and my questions were about the details. They did everything I would have thought they should. The professionalism was top-notch. From evaluating conservatively to explaining why their selection of investment vehicle fit our situation, not a beat was missed. The follow up and follow thru was timely and appropriate. We had changes to our plan and experts invited from the sponsor. I was impressed by how right on target nearly every step was executed. I would have no reluctance at all recommending the team at Realized 1031. The only thing critical I can come up with is that I was the one that had to inject some humor to lighten the serious mood. The team was all about achieving my goals.

Last year, my brother and I sold our parents' commercial retail property in southern California, and faced significant capital gains tax liability without much knowledge of 1031 investment approaches other than investing back into direct real estate ownership.  We first turned to our family’s longstanding and well recognized money manager who directed us to its recommended 1031 expert.  We also heard about  Realized and contacted their representative, Clay Schmidt. The contrast between the two advisors was eye-opening. Clay and other team members were always available for our questions and requests with thoughtful, thorough, prompt, courteous, objective (they had many DST offerings so were not invested into any particular sponsor), well-reasoned answers/analytics/summaries in both verbal and written form that were tailored to our specific needs – a very “client-centric process.”  No question or request we raised was unworthy of their timely and expert attention that were again tailored to our situation. Realized’s website and its webinars were also informative, invaluable instructional, neutral aids in learning about various property types, how to spread risk, debt and exit strategies, and many other considerations, including Covid-19 impacts on DST investments.  Their team flawlessly handled our closing among the multiple DST sponsors and the intermediary.  I have and will continue to unhesitatingly recommend others to Realized – I believe it was very fortuitous that we found Realized.   ----- Roger K.

My wife and I were searching for a 1031 option after an exhausting journey on trying to purchase a replacement property(s) after selling our self storage facility which we had built and operated for 30 years. Our experience with commercial realtors was disappointing, primarily Realtor incompetence and a general disregard of ethics led us to learning about and then pursuing DST's. We learned of Realized 1031 through of all things a google search. Our phone inquiry to Realized led a conversation with Clay, a very capable young man who gave us an overview of exactly what Realized 1031 did. Being "Doubting Thomases" by nature we invited ourselves to their corporate location in Austin Texas to meet with them and make sure that this was a "real" business entity. Realized 1031 is in fact a "real" entity and an answer to our prayers, literally. Drew and Clay were good listeners and proposed several investment options based on our risk tolerance and expected investment returns. Their proposals and recommendations were thoughtfully laid out for us along with the necessary disclosures. No high pressure sale pitch, just presenting their DST materials and associated sponsors in plain English. They did what they said they would do, and in our opinion with integrity and transparency. Of course any investment has risks, but one way to minimize decision making risk is to deal with people that you can trust. We trust the good people that are Realized 1031 and plan on doing business with them again.

Nice tool to aid investor understanding of financial returns of investment. Requires some financial acuity to understand at a glance without guidance.

I was happy to help as I will be a user of the tools that I looked at. I think it would help if Russ had a better understanding of the products that Realized is marketing. As it is, the conversation is necessarily more abstract than concrete and my suggestions are harder to implement in that situation

I have three investments through Realized. I’m planning on doing a fourth within the next year.
My original plan was to sell a number of real estate investment, combine the proceeds, and invest in a single triple net leased property. The timing required by the IRS made that unfeasible. Realized offered an alternative through a DST.
Realized’s web site offered detailed information on available investments without having to contact a salesperson. That gave me time to research, formulate my questions, and analyze before speaking to anyone.
Very satisfied with my relationship with Realized and the sponsors of my chosen DSTs.

So far so good. My check shows up on time each month and they send me a clear, easy to read statement to review.

Very good experience investing with Realized. They stepped right in to help me months later when one of the companies I had invested in made an error with my disbursements.

The team we interacted, led by Drew, did a terrific job. They were very patient with my many questions and requests for info.

I had a great experience working with the Realized staffs. They made the process seamless.

The only suggestion I would make is to improve their web site. I have not been able to download the PPM files from the web site. Since I can't download the file, I have to view the file online, page by page. It is not practical to view it that way as the file is a few hundred pages long. So I sometimes request a copy by mail.

There was much to long a delay in completing the transaction, apparently because of the absence of a member of your team. Otherwise all was fine.
