We purchased the Pro Air Wireless…

We purchased the Pro Air Wireless Compression system for my wife, unfortunately her condition with severely swollen Legs meant they were unable to fit her needs, her therapist was very impressed with the product quality and usability and we were disappointed that we could not use them. The delivery and subsequent return process was seamless and the refund was completed in 24 hours. We can’t recommend The Recovery Project enough for quality and reliability with after sales service second to none ….

Product not shipped!

Consistent with the experience of other customers, order placed over 5 weeks ago...and product still hasn't arrived and the company has not provided any feedback on the status of the order. Very poor experience!

Yes, I checked the boots were fully operational before I withdrew the PayPal claim.

Had I not emailed and pushed the PayPal claim, I’m not sure whether I would’ve received the item.

Secondly, it’s difficult to verify identities as to whether I was communicating with a genuine onshore Australian business.

So, buyer beware even still.

Thanks for your review and for confirming the boots arrived safely and are working as they should.

I completely understand that the process felt drawn out, and I’m genuinely sorry it took multiple emails to get everything resolved. Behind the scenes we were actively following up and trying to get clarity on the parcel. Unfortunately we were caught up in a run of Australia Post processing delays that affected a portion of our shipments at the time. Once it became clear things weren’t moving as they should, we made the call to resend your order via DHL to get it to you without any further hold ups.

Just to clarify, the replacement shipment was already arranged before the PayPal claim was withdrawn. The claim itself did not trigger dispatch, but I completely understand why you felt you needed to take that step given the uncertainty and delay.

I also want to address your concern about whether you were dealing with a genuine Australian business. That’s a fair question when tracking looks unusual. We are an Australian owned, family run business, and all communication you received was directly from us. The international tracking simply reflected the courier method we used to bypass the Australia Post delays, not because we operate offshore.

We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. While I’m pleased the boots are working well for you, I acknowledge the path to getting them to you was not smooth. We have since made changes to our shipping processes to reduce the risk of this happening again.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Ordered my boots on Jan 5 and still yet to see them. Am now resorting to trying to message them on Instagram because they don't reply to emails.

Will be going to fair trading and the ACCC

I’m really sorry you’ve felt this way, but I do want to reassure you that we are absolutely not a scam.

Your order was delivered on February 3. Earlier in that period we were impacted by Australia Post processing delays that caused a small portion of parcels to stall or move slower than expected. As soon as we identified what was happening, we started arranging alternative shipping methods so orders wouldn’t sit in the same network any longer than necessary.

We completely understand how frustrating delays can be. It’s not the experience we want for anyone, and we’ve since made changes to our shipping process to reduce the risk of this happening again.

Second one star review as it's the 3rd time they have not delivered

Second review as it's the 3rd time label has been created and order doesn't get sent even after"Peter" the owner claimed in an email to be sending by priority post. Be honest tell the clients if stock is on site and if you can pack and send.

If you can't access product or can't post it tell us the true situation and or refund our payments. Only took 1 try to take the money.

Have to say don't buy the product as no customer service.

Yes tried emails even got responses but just same tactic create a label, this is an online process to Australia Post not an action by Australia Post. Would be amazed if 3 times one small regional post office Beerwah in Qld has messed up my order.
So taking monies with no intention to supply or knowing you can't supply borders on fraud. Won't refund my money as I asked for that already. Do I go via the ACCC or bank.

I’m really sorry for the frustration this caused. I completely understand how concerning it is to see labels created with no visible movement.

I can confirm your order was delivered on January 29, but I also acknowledge that the process getting there was not smooth.

At the time, we were dealing with an issue affecting part of our Australia Post eParcel setup. Some parcels, including yours, were correctly booked but then delayed or not scanned properly within the network. From your side, that understandably looks like nothing is happening, which is frustrating.

To be clear, we do carry stock and dispatch orders, and we would never take payment without the intention of supplying the product. That said, the label processing issue caused delays that fall below the standard we expect of ourselves, and I take responsibility for how that impacted you.

We have since corrected the configuration and adjusted our shipping process to reduce the risk of this happening again.

I know this experience affected your trust, and for that I’m genuinely sorry.

Still waiting after 6 weeks

I've never left a bad review, and don't wish to, but this is the only way I can see the people are being replied to. I made an order on 14 December and received notification that is had been sent out on the 24 December. I have not received my order or any information regarding my order since. Still waiting for my order to arrive, it seems that it is a common problem with this company. Order 5493 24/12. I contacted them on the 9/1 and was told “Let me look into this urgently with Australia Post, and I’ll follow up shortly once I have more information.” But have not heard a thing back yet. Im extremely disappointed.

Best experience when Initial box wasn’t delivered

The initial box was returned back to The Recovery Project from Australia Post, however the Team went above and beyond to send them back to me Express post in time for the Christmas present giving! Absolutely amazing communication and fast work Team! Would recommend 100%

Ordered my product Dec 1st and still…

Ordered my product Dec 1st and still have not received it. I have stage 3 lymphadema in my legs as well as osteo and I have been desperately wanting these boots. If I had ordered these from America I would have them by now.
Disappointed is an understatement.

So far, can say the correspondence back and forth between myself and Peter has been better than average.
He is attentive with replying back.
Maybe not so much after I make this review

Would have loved to have had these boots before xmas and been able to walk without swollen ankles!

The question i have is: How can express post be delayed?

Over Black Friday, we received a much higher volume of orders than we anticipated, and it’s clear that our systems and processes at the time weren’t up to the standard they should have been. That’s on us, and it resulted in longer wait times than is acceptable.

This was unfortunately compounded by delays within Australia Post over the Christmas period. We’ve had a number of parcels delayed or even returned to us without explanation, and Express Post has also been impacted due to the sheer volume moving through the network. While that helps explain what happened, it doesn’t change the frustration it caused you.

We truly appreciate you raising this, as we’re already working on improving our processes and capacity going into the new year so this doesn’t happen again. We’re really sorry that your order was affected and that we didn’t meet expectations this time.

Ordered November 30th and still to…

Ordered November 30th and still to receive my products, they seem to blame Auspost for shipping delays but looking at other customer reviews it seems to be a company issue. I have been in contact with their customer service but there response is very generic and not very helpful.
It took them 10 days to pick the order and 2 days to hand the product over to Auspost after the shipping label had been created.
I am not sure if they ship the products in from overseas before shipping them with Auspost as they were not able to ship new products until they received the original products back from Auspost. Overall a poor experience and won't order from this company again.

Don’t waste your time - yet to even a receive shipping…

Yet to even a receive shipping confirmation after 10 days. Service is beyond slow and I have serious doubts that my order will even arrive. Don’t waste your time with The Recovery Project - purchase with anyone else. Every other business can pack and despatch orders except this business. So Good!

Whilst we had some initial challenges with Australia Post, all of our products have arrived and we’re so happy.
We had to reach out to the Co for some assistance and we received direct communication from the owner who provided his help right til the end. Thanks so much
