i really didn’t want to write a review about you guys i don’t do this stuff but as a product i received it damaged and it was not what i originally ordered yes we dealt with this over email but i cant believe i bought a double TN screen for 460 dollars thats crazy and they don't do refunds even though the product i received wasn’t the condition i wanted. the power button is really hard to press, and it’s reshelled. waste of money but simon is really responsive, you can get a double ips screen for the same price at other stores and i won’t be ordering from this store again. do your research guys first cause they dont do refunds. he most likely gives away double TN screens and keeps the IPS screen to themselves there’s no mention on the page about the difference, other stores mention if they are selling an IPS or TN screen, also i'm specifically talking about the New 3DS XL.

A response to Red Pro:
You never mentioned a return only an exchange knowing how i got the 3DS in the first place, i didn’t trust any of your products anymore, and i was traveling putting 500 dollars and investing in a 3rd party store who gave me a loose hinge, burnt plastic front, the R Button keeps popping out, one of the plastic caps near the camera is loose.

The partial refund was 60 dollars i can get a New 3DS XL for 300 dollars on another website, that states in their listing that it’s dual TN screen.

My summary is that Red Pro is overpriced when you compare it to other stores selling modded 3DS in the same space. and it came damaged even though i ordered “near perfect” Look elsewhere, i’m not happy with my purchase.

yeah i told you i was traveling and if you would extend the return to next year when i come back and you said no, because you do not care about your customers, i was on a really tight schedule with 4 flights. if the item was delivered near perfect then i wouldn’t complain and on top of that there’s no mention of screen types, and i'm not going to keep going back and forth with the responses.

A few points of clarification for anyone reading:

As you mentioned in your review, we discussed these concerns by email. When you reported the issues, we offered to have the console returned so we could inspect and correct any problems.

You declined the return option and instead accepted a $60 partial refund, which we provided.


The listing clearly states that this is a restored/reshelled console. Refurbishment and restoration often involve replacing worn or damaged exterior components to bring the system back to good cosmetic condition.

Regarding IPS vs. TN screens, we do not advertise or guarantee a specific screen type unless explicitly stated in the product listing.

Replacement IPS screens for the New 3DS XL are not readily available, and screen type is generally determined by the original hardware.

We do not intentionally withhold IPS units or screen information from customers.

Regarding the power button, our listings include a disclaimer that certain secondary controls (such as the power button, Start/Select buttons, or 3D slider) may feel different from an original factory unit after refurbishment.

However, if a customer believes a component is defective, we are always willing to inspect and repair it under our warranty process.

We understand that you're disappointed with your purchase, and while we couldn't reach the outcome you wanted, we did offer both a repair solution and a partial refund in an effort to resolve the situation fairly.

Just to reiterate, when the customer contacted us about these concerns, we offered a warranty return so that we could inspect, repair, or exchange the console. We also provided a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to the customer.

The customer declined the return/repair option and instead requested a partial refund. We agreed and issued a $60 refund, which was accepted.

While we understand the customer remains dissatisfied, we believe we acted in good faith throughout the process and provided multiple reasonable options to resolve the matter. Our preferred outcome would have been to inspect and correct any issues through our warranty process, but the customer chose not to proceed with that option.

Defective product.

We purchased a $500 modded DS from redproclub.com. It took weeks to receive because they stated from the beginning they needed to order some parts before sending it out. Once received the first week it malfunctioned multiple times.
We emailed to get advice and were continuously sent suggestions or videos to watch... which did not correct the issues.
After the third malfunction, we requested a refund in which they told us they did not do that however, I was able to convince them to do so. After they received it and reviewed it, they gave us a refund. 2 weeks later Simon, I presume one of the owners called using profanity and nasty comments trying to claim that we broke the device, which was ridiculous because it didn't work from day one.
For the owner of a company to use such foul language and then threaten to recharge our credit credit card company is unconscionable. Not to mention illegal.
Stay away from this company. They are clearly scammers and you'll have a very difficult time when you receive your defective devices.

Let me add that the response by Red Pro given below is an absolute joke
At no time did anyone alter the software or break the device.
I could send a screenshot of all of their responses in which they were telling us to use a computer to try to fix the problems and then to try to use other items, etc. it was a joke... they were rude and disrespectful and dropped the F bomb after making a threatening phone call to our home today. What kind of professional company calls to harass and use profanity over and over again? Then they threatened to illegally run the credit card again.!!
As for me pretending to be an attorney, please feel free to look me up because I've been an attorney with the bar Association since the 1990s...I practice under my maiden name. .. and their statement about Marty KCPA... is never anyone that I ever worked for in the practice of law.
They sell defective devices and then try to blame it on the customer when they sell them to them and can't help them fix the problems!
Stay away from these scammers!
If anyone's interested, please let me know and I'm happy to also provide email correspondence that they gave which was a joke... because they had no idea how to fix the problems with their defective devices!
They can feel free to keep responding, but I'm all done here. This company is a joke and please beware. I would hate for anyone else to go through what we went through.

**1)** We asked if the delay was okay, you agreed. You can't really complain about a delay you approved beforehand.

**2a)** The first issue was the black screen with blue light.

This is an occasional software glitch. Usually leaving the system on for a while or reinserting the SD card resolves it.

**2b)** This is where the story changes.

The device had one issue. Not three. Not two.

After the first issue was fixed, the customer started modifying the software and performing homebrew updates. The later problems occurred after those changes.

**3a)** Again, there was one minor issue that was resolved. Everything after that happened after the customer modified the system.

At this point Andrea Goodnow from Martykcpa.com claimed she was an attorney and threatened a chargeback if a refund was not issued.

We didn't know at the time whether that claim was true, and honestly it wasn't worth the headache. We figured maybe a young kid made a mistake messing around with the software.

Out of good faith we approved a return, paid for the return shipping label, and issued a full refund.

**3b)** Then the return arrived.

Not only was the software damaged, the system was physically damaged as well.

After speaking with Andrea, we learned her "child" was actually 25 years old...

The New 2DS XL was returned physically broken and shipped back with little to no protective packaging despite being instructed to package it securely.

Worth Every Penny

Was exactly as advertised. Preloaded with a bunch of games, super easy to follow manual, literally started playing right out of the box. Highly recommend to anyone.

My n3ds upper screen needed a new lens. Redproclub communicated with me quickly about price. This was my first repair so I had a lot of questions - all of which were answered with in 24 hours. The repair was done quickly and system returned with a tracking number. I live halfway across the country and the entire process was about two weeks.

Great experience and highly recommended!

My experience

What made my experience great was the communication and confirmation of an item I was ordering came in brand new condition already hook on playing my new 2ds would definitely recommend if anyone wants to purchase something off there store you will not regret it and there response is quick

Best Value for Quality / Time Saved

Saw a YouTuber do a review for RedProClub’s services and decided to bite the bullet.

The product was better than I had imagined! I spent the money on an A- grade thinking there were going to minor scratches. NO PHYSICAL OR COSMETIC DEFECTS FOUND. Every button worked great. The screen was responsive in every aspect.

The console also came with so many games that I didn’t have to spend hours trying to download titles. I opened the package and it was ready to go. Simon sent frequent communication and actually took time to write detailed emails whenever a question arose.

They do ship from Canada and I’m in California so shipping times took around 3 weeks but I would wait again if I had to. Not the seller’s fault!

Ordered: 1/28/25
Delivered: 2/13/25

I’m really happy with the purchase even if it was pricy! You get the quality that you pay for and save so much time on hours setting up or even refurbishing hardware.

Exceeds Expectations

I bought a 3DS in B (Good) condition with 256 GB of storage, expecting a few games on a system that you can tell, at a glance, isn't brand new. What I got was more games than I can play in a year, on a system that would take intense observation to locate any flaws. Very pleased with what I got, and if I ever need another one, I know where to get it.

I ordered an original 3DS in "B+ |…

I ordered an original 3DS in "B+ | Good" condition and I would say it is definitely at least that. I appreciate RedProClub's very clear quality rubric from A+ | Near Perfect to D | Functional, with detailed descriptions.

There was a delay in processing, but RedProClub was very communicative the whole way through so I knew exactly what was going on. And even with that delay it still got to me in around 2 weeks.

The 3DS arrived fully set up with everything I want on it. Very easy to use, worth the expense!

It’s a heaven sent for those of us who aren’t mod savvy and you make games more accessible when scalpers essentially gatekeep the fandom with inflated prices and potentially counterfeit merchandise. Awesome Company!

I was directed to Redproclub from a YouTuber I watched reviewing his awesome modded 3ds and he provided a direct link to them with an attached coupon, once I clicked on it and it got me to their site, I was excited as I saw the products they offer that interested me, I purchased a 3ds everdrive cart with preloaded games and also a Gameboy everdrive cart as well preloaded. Right from the get go I had an awesome experience with them, within 24hours of my Purchase they outreached to me letting me know the Gameboy cart was currently out of stock and they’re expected to receive more in their warehouse very soon and as soon as they get it they will let me know. First of all I love that communication and update, that alone made me happy with my purchase from them. I received my first item which was my 3ds everdrive, though it is plug and play, I am not tech savvy at all and didn’t know how to move around the folders for the different games and different emulators, I reached back out to the business and once again less than 24 hours I got a response from a team member happily providing support and a full very detailed instruction guide on how to use my new 3ds cart, I was very happily and it was easy to follow and once I communicated with them, you best believe I was in gaming mode and couldn’t put my 3ds down. Then a few days later I received another email from them letting me know my Gameboy cart they got more in stock of shipped along with tracking, I couldn’t be more happier. I got both items and they both function and work as expected, they even went out their way to email me instructions on the Gameboy cart even though I didn’t ask for it, that’s top customer service right there! Those who are reading my review, this company is not a scam, they have great communication, they’re products work great and everything displayed on the site is accurate to what you are getting. I see the ones below leaving 1 star reviews and I will back the company up, I see the consoles to and they clearly put what condition they offer their products and let the customer chose which condition would you like, though I didn’t purchase a console, it’s also not hard to read as everything is laid out in front of you. This is not a shady company and I highly recommend anyone to purchase from them, they have great support and communication and great products. Thank you so much Redproclub for my 2 items, I love that I a full library of games on my
Devices and am enjoying reliving my childhood playing all these games! Should I ever want anything else, I won’t hesitate to order from you guys, once again thank you!

You purchased the 'acceptable' version, and are upset that you received the 'acceptable' version.

I can't do anything about if someone decides to purchase "a pepperoni cheese pizza', but in their brain they wanted 'a cheese pizza only'

And then get mad, because you received a 'pepperoni pizza', and then complain to the pizza shop, "I got a pepperoni pizza, not the cheese pizza I actually wanted, even though I checked out the cheese pizza".

We can't read peoples' minds.

So when you checkout and select 'acceptable', we can't just read your brain and realize you picked the wrong condition state.

And in states in the description for the acceptable condition:

"New Face Plates, more noticeable blemishes, grime, scruffs, lint and/or dust, still relatively in decent condition."

You literally complained about noticeable blemishes and grime. Literally. You literally complained about the order state you chose.

Instead of blaming us, next time spend 30 seconds reviewing your order.

You also stated, that we did no repairs on your device, which is a big lie.

We gave the device a total clean, got rid of probably 95% of the grime, swapped the left analog stick with a new one, put a new top screen in, put a new top screen protector, put new faceplates on it, and put a new right analog stick.

But apparently 'we did nothing'. Even in their photos it shows we clearly replaced those parts.

Even for acceptable condition this individuals device is pretty darn awesome, compared to all the used marketplaces (ebay/facebook marketplace/craiglists) that are prone to rubber rot analog sticks, scruffed digitizers, scruff top screen protectors, very high yellowing, poor game cart and/or memory card reading.

Again this customer chose the acceptable condition, and literally is complaining about why they received the acceptable condition.

We only fulfilled what they ordered.
