I'm fairly happy with what I ordered from this company. I ordered a Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 and it was to be delivered to me in Grade A condition. When the package came it came in a nice box. That was the kind of thing you'd expect from a refurbished situation. The computer itself was in great condition, very comfortable, clean. It was hard to tell that anyone had used it.

I was a little concerned at first, reading all the Trustpilot reviews and everything, when I first ordered because I hadn't read before I ordered. They met their contractual obligations ahead of schedule and the product I've received is an excellent product in great shape. I would highly recommend to people that they consider this company in the future.

Can't speak to the Service or support, but I purchased 2 Dell 5050 towers. Both were like new, exactly as advertised. I did need to reset some motherboard plugs that loosened during transport.

It's refurbished. Don't expect it to be completely plug-and-play. Know what you're buying and be able to do some minor maintenance.

I honestly cannot believe how terrible this experience has been. I waited over two weeks for this laptop because I rely on it for work every single day. When it finally arrived, I turned it on only to find multiple dead spots and severe backlight bleed on the LCD screen right out of the box. Completely unacceptable.
I reached out multiple times by email and phone and got absolutely nowhere. No replies, no support, no accountability. PayPal was no help either. At this point, I’m beyond frustrated and honestly sick of dealing with this company and their nonexistent customer service.
People deserve to know what they’re getting into before spending their money here. Based on my experience, do not expect warranty support, communication, or any effort to make things right after the sale.

BE CAREFUL when ordering!! They sent us the wrong power adapter. Terrible customer support. They will not help us even though this was their mistake! The power adapter needed is hard to source. We will not buy from them again.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. They initially sent the wrong device, then forgot about the return after I shipped it back. I had to follow up multiple times over three weeks just to get a response. They falsely claimed they were waiting for a replacement part and that the issue would be resolved the same day I followed up. That wasn’t true—they planned to send a replacement device and clearly forgotten about it. When they finally promised it would be sent out that day, they also committed to providing a tracking number, which they failed to do. Five days later, after another follow-up, they responded rudely but eventually shared the tracking info. In total, it took six weeks to receive a completely different device and not the original one they stated was being repaired. Do not use this company. Awful customer service, horrendous support, and they lie to their customers.

SCAMMERS! STAY AWAY. They are NOT in Ireland. I bought an Apple Watch, paid over €266, 5wks ago no watch!!! They are REFUSING TO REFUND!!! Keep telling me to wait, check DHL DESPITE NO INFO. ON DHL. THEY ARE CHEATS AND LIARS!
They'll respond to this asking for my order number, saying they'll "personally" check it out to look good BUT they NEVER sort it cos.... you guess it, THEY'RE SCAMMERS!!! I pay, I get no product, you can't tell me when I will get product = REFUND!!! 5wks waiting!! Here's the Order Number to shove where the sun don't shine 12758783. I'm going to put up reviews like this every day until you refund me my money.... THIEVES!!

The PC they sent me worked for about 9 months then crashed and then got stuck in an infinite boot loop. At first I was glad it was still under 1 year warranty but after multiple emails went unanswered for weeks... and many many phone calls that never get answered, I've concluded they don't give a damn about their customers and their warranty is useless! Update: Refurb.io finally contacted me and is working on it now. Will update to 2 stars for now pending resolution.

The guy that works for customer serivece all i can say that would be nice is literally boderline insane and thats putting that nicely I was literally contacting after receiving my unit back and the battery literally just stops working or my unit stops working and I talk to them already in the email, but all it was was a back-and-forth so I already knew it was a childish person behind the computer, but literally I was asking for support and help without sending in my unit because I already needed it urgently but literally none of that was being listened to so I called in and oh was that a interesting experience? I called in and literally was met with screaming voice and an argumentative customer service web that was a male, and he was literally screaming at me and not even letting me finish my sentences and claiming that he knows what is on my unit and has never even touched it before and claiming I should call back a month after like I have time to wait for that even though I’m not already a pain customer and I already don’t have a warranty and he kept on repeating the same thing. I already knew like I’m a dummy about a repeated warranty 90 day warranty on my battery like I don’t care about the battery I care about the unit if the unit is not working then the warranty is a lie , so yeah save yourself some stress and weird experiences because that was insane. I had to call back again with my mom listening on the phone just to see if I was crazy or not.

With the years of experience they claim to have, you'd expect things to run smoothly. Unfortunately, that's not my experience. First, it took four days to ship a computer order. When it was finally shipped, it went to their US shipping facility instead of the Canadian one, despite the ship-to address clearly being in Canada.

When I reached out to customer service via chat because UPS was returning the package, the first thing the rep did was blame me for 'missing information' in the provided shipping address. After I sent a screenshot of the full address, they shifted the blame to UPS for picking up from the wrong pallet. Their solution was for us to wait for the package to return from UPS and then reship it. Comically, the rep told me the return package is very close to them, suggesting it could be reshipped quickly, but as a customer, it took 11 days just to get back to square one.

At no point did they question themselves or take responsibility. They blamed everyone but themselves and provided a 'solution' that benefited them the most.

I have bought a laptop, a desktop, and several monitors over the past two years and I am 100% satisfied with what I bought. No issues with any of them. Looking to buy a desktop in the near future.

Refurb.io exceeded all of my expectations. The laptop is in excellent condition and very fast. The after sale service was most responsive and my satisfaction was a top priority for the technician. Truly impressed and very happy. I will not heisite to buy from Refurb.io in the future and to recomend to friends and family.

Ordered and paid. They went dark. 10 days later, I reached out. They notified me they don’t have what I bought and refunded my money. I thought I was being scammed. Either way, very unprofessional and unreliable.

My first experience with this company was a disaster, and it will be my last. I ordered 4 Dell Optiplex 7070 Micro Desktops, taxes in - $2000. Two of the four arrived with 90W power supplies instead of 130W. One even had a sticker that read "For 7060". One was filthy inside and had to be blown out. All had their NVMe storage removed and replaced with 2.5" used junk. The 7070 was released in 2020; one of the replacement drives was date-stamped 2016. Ultimately, I replaced all the used SSD's with brand new Samsung drives, since I could not depend on the garbage I received. Unfortunately, by the time I received the shipment, I only had one day to deliver them to the customer, who in turn was shipping them to a new office out of town. There was no time to return or replace anything. I purchase hundreds of refurbished laptops and desktops for customers each year, and I have never witnessed anything so unprofessional. I'm feeling scammed here; I thought I was getting Dell OEM, and instead got whatever someone pulled out of a bargain box. I also thought I had found a new supplier, but I would be afraid to buy anything from them now.

Laptop sent witout windows installed, doesn't boot. Supposed to be grade A, but in very bad shape.
They don't answer phone calls. I would never even consider this company

I purchased an Acer chromebook. It was in mediocre condition when recieved, but the real problem was the battery. It wouldn't hold a charge. Stayed at 1%. The computer was useless. I reached out via email and chat and got no reply. I tried calling and got a voicemail. I'm out money on a computer that doesn't work.

They sent the wrong $900 DELL workstation notebook (FHD screen and not 4K UHD with 100%RGB) and now refuse to reply to our company's request for a resolution. Terrible business practice.

Will revise this review should resolution be made. Beware.

Horrible service. They are very quick to get to your inquiries before your purchase, but right after the purchase, they ghost you. Multiple inquiries over multiple days constantly got ignored. They really don't care. I would not recommend them at all! I sent the items back over 3 weeks ago, the items were received 2 and half weeks ago, and I have yet to hear back from them.

I just purchased a computer from Refurb.io online.
They sent me an order confirmation email and an "earned x Refurb Points" email.
Then they sent me this:
"Unfortunately, your order #23588 has been declined.
The terminal or user id is not permitted to process this transaction type.
Are you able to use Sezzle for this transaction?
If you use Sezzle, the transaction should be able to be processed without any further troubles.
You can just choose the Sezzle checkout after adding the item to the cart and the transaction should then be processed without any trouble."
It looks like they want me to use Sezzle for the transaction.
I contacted my credit card and they said that they received no transaction request from refurb.io.
I regularly use this payment method online.
This sounds very unsafe. I don't know what Sezzle is.
