We’re sorry to hear that you experienced difficulty completing the ID verification process.

For clarity, identity verification is a legal requirement for all clients using our services, and we use a certified UK Identity Service Provider (TrustID) to carry this out in line with anti-money laundering regulations.

As your own correspondence shows, you contacted us on the morning of 2 April to report an issue with the process, and this was immediately escalated to TrustID, who confirmed that their team would assist you directly .

This is the correct process, as:

The verification system is operated securely by TrustID (not Ghost Mail directly)
Their team is best placed to troubleshoot device or document issues in real time

In most cases, where there are technical difficulties, the issue is resolved quickly by:

Using a different mobile device
Ensuring good lighting and a clear passport scan
Following TrustID’s direct support guidance

We note that support was already in progress when this review was posted.

We are always happy to assist and ensure clients complete verification successfully, but this step is mandatory before services can be fully activated, and cannot be bypassed.

We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way, but we do need to clarify the facts for accuracy.

This service was:

* **Purchased and fully provisioned**, and
* **Identity verification was completed**, meaning the account was fully activated in line with regulatory requirements.

As clearly stated on the product page and in our Terms & Conditions, this is a **business service** and is **non-refundable once activated**. Activation includes account setup, address allocation, and completion of compliance checks (including ID verification).

Your cancellation request was received **after the service had already been provisioned and activated**, and therefore falls outside of any cancellation rights.

We have not ignored your request — we have applied our stated policy consistently and in line with the terms agreed at the point of purchase.

If your circumstances have changed and you no longer require the service, we are of course happy to assist with next steps (such as removing the address from use), but the original service remains valid for the period purchased.

When purchasing our services, all customers agree to our Terms and Conditions, which clearly explain our ID verification requirements. These requirements are not unique to us—they are a legal obligation under the UK's Anti-Money Laundering Regulations and Companies House ID Verification standards, and they apply to all clients, regardless of residency or nationality.

We understand that providing ID can occasionally be inconvenient, but compliance with UK law is not optional. Without the required documentation, we are legally prohibited from forwarding mail or fully activating your services. This is clearly stated before, during, and after purchase, and forms part of the initial confirmation email sent to all new clients.
