Really poor after sales service, hard work!

I don't really like leaving negative reviews, ill give 2 stars because the issue did eventually get resolved but only after a lot of babying and a lot of chasing!
I purchased a dryer from their eBay store last year in June 25 and it had gone faulty within 7 months. I reached out to them in mid December it was collected around 23rd December. I reached out to them a month later purely because it was around xmas time i thought id give them a grace period so they can get back up and running from the break etc. They turned around and said they didn't even receive my return...god knows where that's ended up. If i hadn't emailed i wouldn't have been contacted just left in the dark! Anyways apparently they received it back around end of Jan. They didn't say that they could repair it they simply offered me a replacement unit or a voucher to spend in their store, now we purchased that particular dryer due to space limitation in our home so we asked for a full refund so we could buy another that fits in our space from elsewhere, i wasnt getting much response from this, so naturally i had to advise them that i paid by credit card which usually wakes people up since you have 6 years to do a charge back claim. It took them a while to reply back to me, i imagine to source the right model, but a few days later as if by magic they had a new replacement unit of the same model. So we asked for this to be delivered, it got delivered around 7th Feb but this time it was missing the bottom kickplate! The frustration levels was crazy at this point. I emailed them and asked for them to send me the kick plate. Of course they had to send me the incorrect kickplate! Then i called them and asked for them to send the kickplate from my original unit and their exact words were oh we don't seem to have received your return which led me to believe they hadn't actually received the original dryer that i had initially sent back to them! Finally they sent out the correct kickplate the next day, baring in mind its now 14th Feb when i received this part. Its taken the best part of 7 and a half weeks to resolve this issue which is totally unacceptable really to be left without a dryer during winter which is ridiculous. The replacement unit seems to be working so far but only time will tell. So all in all the after sales service is almost non existent unless you hold their hand and really guide them through it which really isn't your job to do so since you don't get paid to do it!

We appreciate you acknowledging that the issue was ultimately resolved, however we do understand the frustration caused by the time it took and the level of communication you received throughout the process.

The period you are referring to did include the Christmas and New Year shutdown, which can impact carrier networks and return processing times. That said, we accept that communication should have been clearer and more proactive, particularly around the return tracking and updates on your unit.

In line with our process, once items are returned they are booked in, tested and assessed before we can confirm repair, replacement or alternative resolutions. In your case, a replacement unit of the same model was sourced and supplied as quickly as possible once confirmed available.

We’re also sorry for the error with the kickplate and the delay this caused in fully resolving the matter. This is not the standard we aim to deliver, and we will be feeding this back internally to improve both parts handling and communication.

We’re pleased to hear the replacement unit is now working correctly and hope it continues to do so without issue.

Bought a refurbished washing machine…

Bought a refurbished washing machine from them with a 12 month warranty . It stopped working after 5 months so I emailed them but they refused to fix it or replace it . Do not trust this company they are a bunch of liers.

All of our refurbished appliances come with a 12-month warranty, and we fully honour this in line with our terms. We do not refuse valid warranty claims. Please note, used/second-hand appliances are supplied with a 3-month warranty, which is clearly outlined at the point of sale.

In all cases, we require basic fault information, and where needed, the appliance is returned for inspection and testing by our engineers to determine the cause of the issue.

If a fault is confirmed, we will always offer a repair, replacement or suitable resolution in line with the applicable warranty. However, we are unable to proceed where required information is not provided, or if the issue is found to be unrelated to a manufacturing fault (for example installation, environmental or user-related issues).

We would be more than happy to review this further for you. Please contact us directly with your order details so we can investigate and resolve this properly.

Not delivered on the time agreed and no communication why. Have had to chase several times to get a new delivery time, Also they try to say they had tried to delivery but nothing on doorbell camera

Overall I was very happy with the…

Overall I was very happy with the purchase, we had good communication and it arrived when it said it would.
I found the delivery guys very quite and disinterested but they where efficient in there job.
The only thing I would also say is there seemed to be more dings on the unit than had been shown in the photos.

The fridge was exactly as described and delivery was on time and the delivery team placed it exactly where I suggested.
Confirmation that they had received my order and information about when I should expect delivery could have been better.

'Refurbished' Miele washing machine failed with silence from renew2u.

I purchased a 'refurbished' Miele washing machine from this company, which then suffered a broken internal drum support just shy of 6 months from delivery (a known issue with these washing machines because of a corrosion problem with the aluminium alloy used).

They were quite responsive when I initially reported the fault and declined a repair as uneconomic, offering an alternative machine if I made up the cost difference.
Unfortunately the alternative machines were significantly more costly and also so badly damaged compared to the machine I'd originally purchased that they were not acceptable.

As a result I decided to exercise my consumer right to a full refund (because the product was deemed to have been faulty when purchased because it failed within 6 months of delivery).

I've had no response from this company since I made this request - just silence! So I'm going to have to pursue through the small claims court .

The other thing I noticed is that the machine casing had clearly never been opened since manufacture as the screw covers were still pristine. This machine was clearly never inspected internally it was almost certainly just switched on and a wash cycle run to ensure it works with no further checks. Making such purchases is thus akin to Russian roulette - you have no real support from the company if the device fails.

Purchase from this company and you may get lucky with a device that operates correctly, but if it doesn't - good luck getting a refund.

Check item thoroughly before ordering as it's very expensive to return

Thank you for your response, but your customer services confirmed that the basket was adjustable and even sent me a diagram for a different dishwasher. After I researched the appliance myself your company confirmed and accepted it's return as the basket was in fact not adjustable. Therefore it was mis-sold

Sold a dishwasher where dishes didn't fit. Their advice was to adjust the top basket. This was impossible as it was not adjustable. So I had to pay £50 for them to collect and inspect. Al in all £80 wasted in delivery fees for a dishwasher that wasn't fit for purpose.

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible if an item does not meet personal capacity or loading preferences once delivered.

Following return and inspection, the appliance was found to have no fault. As outlined in our terms, a £50 charge applies for unwanted returns or where no fault is found after testing, in addition to the original delivery cost.

We appreciate this may not have been the outcome you were hoping for, however this is in line with our stated terms and conditions.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful.
I purchased a washing machine, my friend who actually fixes them, came to help me,take my old machine, and put the "new" one in. I removed2 transit bolts and even emailed them days and days prior to fitting the new machine in .my friend who's actually a certified engineer,who fixes machines , plumbed it in for me, we have done a short wash on an empty machine and it was all fine.i put a load in to wash and left for work . Came back to the machine out of it's place, broken.. it made a huge hole in my tiles. I immediately called my friend showed him the bolts which had plastic around them, and he knew straight away what the fault was. We flipped the machine and the concrete weight panel is completely loose, the2 screws came out of it and they made a hole in the tiles. The company is blaming me for apparently not taking the transit bolts out. Which is an absolute nonsense as I can even show them the bolts as I never threw them away. The company denying liability, now I'm left with a broken washing machine and broken tiles. But they messed with the wrong person, as I'm actually taking this further and even to court if I have to. SELLING BROKEN MACHINES. £210 FOR NOT EVEN DOING ONE LOAD AND BROKEN TILES.CHEERS. AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE. Needless to say customer service is a joke. You get 1 email a day if you're lucky,impossible to get through them on the phone. Total clowns

Damaged Dishwasher Delivered, Poor Customer Support

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Renew To You. I purchased a refurbished dishwasher which arrived today with a large dent in the middle of the unit. The damage is not cosmetic — it has pushed the internal component at the top down far enough that the top drawer will not open at all, making the dishwasher unusable.
To make matters worse, there is no phone number to contact customer service — only email — which makes resolving an urgent issue like this even more frustrating. I expected much better quality control and customer support, especially for a large appliance. I would not recommend Renew To You based on this experience.

To clarify, this appliance was not installed by Renew2U or our delivery partners. All appliances must be installed in line with manufacturer guidelines, including the full removal of transit bolts prior to use. If transit bolts remain in place, or are only partially removed, this can cause significant internal stress during operation which can lead to severe movement and damage.

From the information provided and the symptoms described, this is consistent with transit bolts remaining in the appliance during use.

That said, as a gesture of goodwill and to help resolve the situation, we did offer a collection and full refund of the appliance, despite the above.

We are sorry that you feel dissatisfied with the outcome, however we have acted reasonably and in line with our terms.

Good luck if anything goes wrong 7 weeks I’ve been waiting for a refund for a dangerous appliance collected by these guys. Countless emails sent including legal and no further along. No customer service no accountability. Avoid!

Poor

A rather terrible company. I read all the horrible reviews on eBay and decided to give them a chance anyway.

After being ignored for days about my late shipment's tracking information not working, I pressed for an answer. I received a holding reply and I told them that I need the item I ordered so will have to cancel if the information can't be provided. Their answer was to simply cancel my order for me instead of finding out why the shipment was over a week late.
