In my experience as a customer, there are quite a few hiccups and changes that need to be made. Setting up verification for "landlords" to try and get rid of scammers. Not the Facebook kind of verification but the "we got actual proof this is a real person/real estate/rental company." Documentations are being sent in to establish a renter is doing business with someone trustworthy. I've come across so many scams on the site. I recently tried to rent an apartment, and just like all the other rental sites, I was completely ignored by the landlord when sending a message and/or applying. There was a time when the "Apply" button took me to Expedia's homepage and I couldn't actually apply to that exact booking. Customer service claimed that's what it was supposed to do so when I asked why I'm not seeing the actual apartment I'm applying for but was being redirected to Expedia's homepage, I just kept getting "we partner with Expedia." Not an actual answer. Lots of double listings. Rental prices that were very obviously from someone stealing pictures and information from other sites like AirBnb and then reposting them on Rentberry. I even found some of those exact listings on AirBnb, messaged the host and they said they don't list on Rentberry. But there was the exact same listing. The only difference was whoever was scamming listed the rent price anywhere from 3-8 times higher than the amount the "real" host or landlord listed it for on AirBnb. I also pointed this out to customer service that these types of listings were scams as I found and talked to the real listers on other sites. Again customer service just simply said landlords are in control of their own pricing. They never wanted to address that these listings could be scam listings and these landlords were not real landlords. It made me not trust the rentals I was finding. I will probably try other sites before I try Rentberry. My attempts at renting through Rentberry was basically the same as using Apartments.com and other sites like it. I really would like Rentberry to stand out, especially if it wants to be successful and continue to compete with other huge name rental sites. But the scam activity and landlord ghosting is practically the same as other sites. I'd like customer service to be a lot better too. Needless to say, I could not find an apartment that didn't send chills down my spine or one that the landlord actually answered to. I like the platform but it needs a lot of cleanup.

Great company for people who are renting. While it sometimes seems like a challenge to rent. Rentberry makes it easy for you to get the place you want easy and effectively. Use Rentberry to get what you want from the landlords!!

It seems like all listings that can host pets are a scam. There is an "apply" button which supposedly redirects users to wunderflats website (partner), but then "page not found" appears. It happened to me for at least 10 listings. Very frustrating!

Rentberry helped to make me a much more productive owner because of the time I get back by using their product.

Landlords can accept rent payments right from the rentberry website.

Being able to pay rent on the same website that you rented the place in the first place make sense.

I find Rentberry to helpful with the fact that everything is one location. Its making things simpler for my kid locate a new apartment as he moving out on his own.
