I want to take a moment to share my experience with Replace Your University and the Replace Your Mortgage program. Honestly, this strategy has done wonders for my finances!
I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical in the beginning, so I didn’t jump right in. Looking back now, I honestly wish I had started sooner!
From the very beginning, Paul was there to guide me through the entire process. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure I completely understood every step along the way. That meant a lot to me because I never felt rushed or pressured into doing something I didn’t understand.

After one year of using the Replace Your Mortgage (RYM) strategy with a HELOC, I can say that I am very happy with both the process and the strategy we developed together. The plan has been clear and practical, and I have been able to follow and execute it as planned throughout this first year. Having a strategy is important, but having the right support along the way makes a huge difference. Chris Fugate’s support during this first year has been unbelievably helpful. He has always been available to answer questions, provide guidance, and help me stay on track with the strategy. This program has really helped and encouraged us while going through the steps to attain our goals. We received so much support along the way.

First the education is valuable. That I will not dispute. However, the sales call led us to believe our customer service rep would help us customize a plan that will work best for us and that they have a large list of vetted banks that offer programs that can help us in our financial goals. Our first call with our customer service rep was super rushed. We did have a rough time getting a good connection and I understand he probably had back to back appointments but he could have worked through our numbers calmly and when time was up suggest scheduling an additional appointment instead of making us feel rushed and unimportant. I knew I wanted to review additional numbers as we had a unique situation of wanting to not only handle our mortgage but look at the best way to assist our daughter in purchasing a house so I schedule a second meeting - not a bank list meeting. Our rep was very short with us and instead of offering options and suggestions for our situation just told us (as he very quickly ran through numbers) that what we were looking at doing was stupid (not those exact words but that connotation definitely came through). Then proceeded to give us a list of 3 banks for a first position HELOC. After looking at all our options (on our own) we decided to go with a 2nd position HELOC so I emailed our rep to ask if there were additional banks that were better suited for that and the response was - this one bank offers it or look at your own bank. What? $7000 to tell me to go to my own bank? Again, education has been valuable but not $7000 worth. I feel like we were sold on not only the education but the reps that would helps us customize a plan and their vetted bank list - neither of which have been helpful.

So before buying, I recommend doing some google research on your own and I bet you can find most of the “education “ out there without costing you $7k.

Last week I closed on a refinance of my home mortgage to a CHELOC with PNC. Because of all the training I received from RYU (Replace Your Mortgage), I was able to move my way thru the application process with a reasonable understanding of what was required. The process took a bit longer than I expected due to my request for another appraisal. The 1st appraisal was based on just the outside of the house and public records. My wife and I had completely upgraded the whole inside of the house 7 years ago. Needless to say, the second appraisal came back considerably higher. Everyone at RYU and PNC were very helpful and answered all my questions. A shoutout to Chris Fugate from RYU for being a great mentor. I would gladly recommend this program to friends and family. If you want to pay off your mortgage a lot faster than You could imagine, this is what You are looking for.

My experience with RYM company has been tremendously educational. It has opened my eyes to all the opportunities fir my Financial Freedom. I specifically am encouraged by the guidance and the information that has been shared by my coach Willie Oliva. He has been very detailed. His follow-up recommendations are precise and very eye opening with a practical checklist on the things that need to be taken care of and how to project the outcomes I need for my future Financial Freedom. I highly recommend any homeowner to find out more about reverse your mortgage. It well worth the investment!!

I signed up for replace your mortgage after hearing how I could pay off my mortgage in as little as 5 years after recently getting a 30 year mortgage. I learned so much from the class instruction and can see me paying off my mortgage within 5 years. Thanks for all the instruction I received and the help along the way 🙏

The program is very informative and gives much guidance and knowledge on what you can do to pay your mortgage off in less than planned time. I also like having access to a coach. My only complaint is the sign up costs and then a monthly costs to stay connected with your coach. It has taken some time to pay back the money I paid just to get the info, and honestly I think it’s a bit much for just access to the material and then connecting with a coach to come up with a plan to execute. The actual execution is solely on you. After the plan was solidified, I didn’t really have a reason to stay active monthly because the rest of the work is on me, until I get to a certain point.

I felt I got scammed! When I did the sales call to sign up I was assured that it was not business credit card stacking. However, after going through the educational videos within 1 week, I realized that what they were offering is exactly the same as credit card stacking which is handled by a third party company. I paid $6000 and within 1 week they only refunded me $2000 and tried to get me to try another one of their products which I clearly did not need. After speaking with their customer service rep, they would not refund me the full price even after I told them that the sales call was not fully transparent and had I known it was exactly like credit card stacking I would not have purchased the course. I thought it was very misleading.

During my sales call I repeatedly confirmed with the rep that their program could assess and make recommendations for my particular situation, which is a little unique. They assured me that their team could handle it, and if not there is a money back guarantee. As it turns out, they couldn't work through my situation. In order to qualify for a refund you have to complete the required meetings and coursework. I did that and requested a refund 4 different times. No response. I contested the charge with my credit card company. RYU DID respond to my CC company, even though they wouldn't respond to me, with documentation of my having completed the course and meetings. Because I used the services (as required to qualify for a refund), my credit card company denied my request. This is really shady. RYU seems to have specifically set up the terms of the guarantee so that you CAN'T get a refund. Not recommended.
