Resupply was great! We moved our loved one into an assisted living facility and wanted some of the furniture to go to good use. We were so thankful that Off the Floor could use the donation. The driver from Resupply was friendly and did a wonderful job! Booking was easy and we were kept up to date when the driver would be arriving. Will definitely use this company again!

Isaac was very professional and was in and out within 30 minutes. Would definitely use ReSuppy in the future and recommend to family and friends.

I was given a 4 hour window when the pickup team would arrive between 8 am to 12 noon. They didn’t arrive until 2 pm. The loveseat I donated was by the front door and it took 2 minutes for them to load onto the truck. I would not donate thru your organization again. It took too much of my time and it cost me $151.23 and that included a $10.00 tip.

They were booked from 12 to 5pm and finally showed up about 4 and proceeded to tell me they had to be done by 5pm, as if that rule were mandated by law. Then they went on to rush through manhandling everything they touched. Professional movers come with lots and lots of moving blankets and packing tape and they wrap every piece of furniture they move before even attempting to pick it up. They also know how to use Moving Straps, hand trucks and Dollies to move big objects carefully. They also have ramps which are detachable from their truck to smooth out small stairways and a ramp and/or lift on the back of their truck to ease loading things onto the truck. They also tie and strap the furniture to secure it once it’s loaded onto the truck. The men who showed up did none of that. With even securing the drawers and doors on the pieces, they either seriously damaged or completely destroyed every piece they touched. Further, the two men didn’t cooperate with each other. With the right equipment, proper training, common sense scheduling, and cooperative work ethic all of the items we donated could have, have been moved with minimal risk and no significant damage. We had 30+ items, some of which were very large. This was well documented in advance. We had planned to pay in the neighborhood of $1,000. We were ok with that with the idea in mind that we were donating to a good cause. Instead, the movers were foul mouthed, surly, and clearly at odd with each other and not at all at ease with the job. After breaking one of the doors off the biggest piece, which they attempted first, they gave up and told me it would have to be broken up and removed piece by piece. It was a beautiful, custom made, solid wood entertainment center. In the end, they smashed it up with a sledge hammer right in the middle of our family room. The desks from the second floor office, they also destroyed rather than disassembled properly. That was a shame too. One of the desks, one of the workers attempted to bring down the hallway staircase alone. He lost control of it, as the one leg he was holding on to broke off in his hand and the desk slid and tumbled all the way down the stairs, slamming into the floor and wall at the bottom. Rather than working together, they attempted to move each item as individuals and resorted to things like taking a five foot tall, 4 drawer, metal filing cabinet up from the basement by “rolling” it end over end up the stairs letting it take chunks out of the wooden stairs on the way. They scared up the hardwood flooring in the center hallway of the home with their ill equipped manhandling. They advise me over the phone while setting up the appointment, that they’d be able to take an elliptical exercise machine and while at my home they flatly declined to even try. I had to call 1800GotJunk instead and that cost me another $1k. When taking items out the front door, since they were each working alone rather than cooperating and working together to properly lift these things with ramps, Dollies and moving straps, they just dragged the items on the floor and the stone and cement stairs in front of the house, marking up and damaging the stone stairway of my front porch as well as destroying the finish on the ground face side of each piece of furniture. If I didn’t have the time pressure of have contractors come into the house the next day, I would have stopped them and kindly asked them to left after they brick the first piece. I’ve never heard my wife cry as loud and as long as she did, during and after this horrific assault. The way the just threw everything up into their truck and had it scattered and crammed in, even pieces that made it on to the truck relatively unscathed were clearly damaged as they we loaded.

We got 30 years good use out of beautiful pieces of furniture destroyed in this fiasco and that is my only consolation at this point. Resupply is an awful business, that ought to be shutdown by some type of consumer protection regulatory agency. Insurance companies covering these movers should refuse them coverage for all the reasons I cited above; they are fundamentally ill prepared and extremely unsafe. The people running the business should be ashamed of themselves and either forced out of business with heavy fines or shut down outright. Never again.

It may be my own fault, but I thought this would be a less expensive way to get rid of furniture. It wasn’t. But there may not be any other way to do it… I had items that “could not be donated” - bed-related furniture, bulky china cabinet, piano… these all are excluded from the ReSupply pricing. The piano is a specialty item and was subject to a special price. The donatable stuff was priced at a rate I wouldn’t consider low- it was average, in my opinion. The balance of my stuff cost $1400 to haul away. Not what I was expecting, but it wasn’t the haulers’ fault- they were efficient and kind-hearted. I just think you’d be better served by your usual haulers if you have one. For my next purge, I’ll just go with my guys at College HUNKS.

The process was so easy. I completed the online donation request to schedule our Peloton to be picked up. They followed up with emails and texts to confirm arrival. The men were very nice, professional, and quickly took the Peloton.
