My dress came to me in 1 day. From New Jersey to New York, to Amsterdam Netherlands.
The dress is stunning. The size is perfect. The dress is stunning. It came in nice paper with a branded ribbon. I highly recommend Retrofete. I recommend you do your resurch on the size converter. Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever. I ordered a dress and it came broken and completely unwearable the bone in was sticking out and the zipper would not lay flat. I emailed customer service, sent photos and everything that they asked and I have yet to hear back from them. It’s been over a week. I’ve been emailing them nonstop. The only answer I got was they could do a one time exception for store credit and I answered right away stating how that was unfair since the dress I ordered was completely unbearable. I should be able to return a broken dress for a refund this is ridiculous. I’ll never order from them again. Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced.

I’m disgusted with this site! Horrible customer service. I returned 2 items which they acknowledged however they have yet to refund me and it’s been over 3 weeks. I have contacted them and they either apologize or ignore my email.

I had ordered a top that they added a fee to track it even thought they use fed ex. Then I returned it immediately, got the email saying it was received. 10 days no credit, I had threaten them with me calling the bank to dispute!
Sure enough the next day, a credit came through.

We purchased multiple dresses for my daughter's wedding and needed to exchange 1 due to sizing. I was told that they don't accept that and there is no exception to that policy. We are now stuck with a $600 dress that can't be altered to fit and have to buy a new one. I was told by a customer service rep and her manager Olivia that they don't care to help the customer, their job is to abide by the company policy. They even sent an Email to confirm they don't want to help. They have no interest in return customers as a part of their strategy.

Awful! I have shopped a few times at retrofete. If you need to return an item it will be a pain in the ass. Take forever o process and they charge a few of $15 for a refund. Most items don’t run true to size so it’s very uncomfortable to shop with them because you never know. They force you to pay a few for shipping (route) too pricey! I would rather to shop at fwrd or revolve since they offer retrofete items and in case you want to return is easy!

I ordered a $700 dress using their size chart for a wedding. The dress came and it did not fit. Too tight around my bust. Right when I received it I emailed them to ask them to exchange it. They said they didn’t do exchanges. Weird but ok. I would have to return it buy a new one because I needed it sooner and they would only give me a store credit once I returned it. Which I was OK with. I go to the wedding I come back and I try to get the store Credit which they only give you 14 days to do. Now I’m stuck with a dress that doesn’t fit me and I can’t even get a store credit. This is the worst policy when you are selling stuff with that price tag. I can shop at free people and return stuff two years later and they will give me a store credit for it. Customer service is awful!!!! Never shop here!

I’m NEVER ordering from you all again.
Don’t order from here. They snuck in a $38.88 “route protection” fee that they tacked on AFTER I checked out with Apple Pay.
My two dresses totaling over $1300 came in and they are bathing suit material and see through. So so cheap.
Then, to return and get a refund, they charge you $15.
So now I’m out $54 to return these cheap dresses. Called CS and they did NoTHInG.
Travel Insurance Necessary.
I ordered 3 items for $300 during the Archive Sale. I did not pay for travel insurance ($15). The packages did not arrive. I send back and forth emails with customer service 16 times and called multiple times. They said because I did not purchase travel insurance, they were not responsible if the package went missing. They said if I did not receive the packages ever then they would not be giving me a refund nor would they ship out replacement items. I told them this was not acceptable as I should not have to pay an extra $15 just to make sure I got what I originally paid for, but they said that was their policy.
I filed a dispute with my credit card and my credit card returned the money to me. I asked them if I could repurchase the items at the same price because I really wanted them and the archive sale had ended, so the items were once again double the price. They said no, they would not be honoring that price for me.

Horrible quality clothes. I purchased a dress which looked completely different in their advertisement, the color was completely off and material not even close looking as it was supposed to be. They wouldn’t let me return it since I missed one day from their return window.

Olivia and April from the customer support team were super helpful in helping me find what size I would be since loosing 100 pounds this past year! They helped me select a gorgeous sequined mini that I wore to my 50th and it was a huge hit! Will be returning to shop some more

I was introduced to Retrofete from Fwrd.com. My first piece was a hand croched top. It reaked like Indian food. And of course, the label stated - made in India. I had to soak the top 3 different times to get the smell out. After several orders of jeans, I never received the pair I ordered which were suppose to destroyed. I received 4 pairs of jeans with NO holes, or destroyed. Next up shirts. Over priced, see through, loose seams, hanging thread. Do not appear as pictured. A shirt in my cart went from 199.00 on sale to 300.00 something. I removed it from the cart, put it back in at 199.00, and again the price changed when i went to check out. I ended up buying the shirt through Saks at 199.00. I'm returning it. The fabric construction is cheap and looks nothing like the picture.
VERY cheap, poorly designed 100 dollar earrings
I wish I had investigated before buying. I bought a pair of earrings for 100.... They were not returnable because of the "clearance". They were far too heavy for the attached clips, and immediately fell off my ears. One of the earrings hit my desk and knocked some of the tiny rhinestones out. I'm not picky... but these were cheaply made rubbish more suited for a discount store shelf. I contacted the company, and they told me if I replaced the clips they might stay on. Essentially, "ha ha! We scammed you!". They did. Shopping online can be difficult when you are dealing with a reputable company..... Skip the hassle.
