Everything went smoothly with our car rental. It was economical and easy to pick up and even better a 4 am drop off with a two minute walk into the airport was so easy.

Great experience
Renting with Reykjavík Rent a Car was easily the best car rental experience I’ve had. Picking up and dropping off the car was seamless, the car itself was great and even when I got stuck in a blizzard, they made rescue easy and fast. The wifi add on in the car was a personal game changer as someone who uses a lot of data and streams a lot of music especially on road trips. Reykjavik Rent a Car gave a wonderful experience, would definitely encourage others to rent a car versus join a tour bus.

This area is located outside of the airport. You can take a bus to get there or trek 10 minutes in the cold to find it. The staff is very to the point but not rude. We got our questions answered sufficiently and got our car. It was covered in snow but worked fine. I had no issues with it at all. Good car.

easy check in/drop off experience walking distance from airport, Good experience although wasn’t told about parking rules (don’t park it the opposite direction from the traffic) so got a fine for around £70 so they took it out my bank that wasn’t great! But sent me and email and talked through it with me, good communication!

rented a car in December 2024
rented a car in December 2024, I can say - I did not regret it. Convenient location (at the airport), fast delivery of the car and, most importantly, real assistance on the road. We broke down 150 km from the nearest settlement, called the company and within 2 hours! they brought us a new car, and in very difficult weather conditions! I definitely recommend it to everyone.
