ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS Same as everyone else..I thought I had bought a hardcover copy of a book only to receive a download link. Only the generic email reply to my initial complaint, no reply to my further emails, the customer support phone number is a premium rate number to listen to a message saying there is no customer support-just email. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

This is a new website scam, same as zohobok. Report the company to trading standards, if you’ve bought a book claim back on your bank account and always check trustpilot before purchasing on unusual or unknown book sites!!!

OMG, I wish I had seen this earlier - I purchased a James Martin hardcover cookbook, supplied shipping details and I was sent a download link which is useless to me for a cookbook. I was told I ordered an ebook and I knew I hadn't - scammers 😡😡😡

Ordered a physical book for this compay and was sent a digital download. Contacted them and they stated they will not refund or replace with the book. Its there mistake and they do not want to fix. Avoid at all costs.

Scam. Do not buy anything.

Ordered a hardback book and then received a pdf copy. Double checked the website and no mention that it wasn't a physical book. I emailed and complained and they started refunds were not possible. After a few back and forth a staying false advertising, consumer rights etc they agreed to a refund. Also suspect that it is not based on the UK as my responses did not come during normal working hours

This company needs shutting down, I had the same experience as other reviewers - specifically selected a hardback copy and received a download. Had to push stating my rights for a refund to be offered. Yet to see if it will be given. Will be reporting to Trading Standards. Absolute sham.

Never recieved book. Emails have been ignored. I have had to make a claim for the money with my bank.

Edit: I emailed again, got a generic email back saying I had actually ordered an E book. I pointed out that nowhere on their website does it say anything about the book being an E-book. They begrudgingly agreed to refund my order eventually, but my bank had already reversed the payment.

I urge you to report this company to citizen's advice. They can then forward the complaint to relevant authorities. This idiot scammer needs to get what's coming to him.

Same thing has happened to me. I thought I was ordering a hardback copy as that's the format I selected and as soon as I'd made the payment I got a link to an ebook. No mention made before this as I was making the transaction that it was an ebook and I completed my delivery address. The response received is that the purchase is non-refundable. That can't even be correct. I am going to raise this as a dispute. How can these people live with themselves knowing they are misleading people?

A scam company - they have no hard copies of books. They just have e-books and will not give you a refund. Very disappointing. Do not use this company.

Misleading and awful customer service.
Wish I had checked the reviews before ordering. They claim they only sell ebooks although it doesn’t state this anywhere on the website and I had ordered a hard cover book that was stated in the description?
Tried to tell me that I couldn’t claim a refund which completely goes against my rights. I was then advised they had processed the refund on 9/12 and it would take 4-7 days, hadn’t received it so emailed them again and they wanted all my information again to process a refund - still haven’t received it nearly a month later.
Awful service and clearly incompetent people who have no idea of the law. Idiots.

- Update - received a refund by reporting it through my bank.

No stars. It said a hard back copy it is a download.. SO DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT REFUND. Stating it is a download and how you can use it when you ask.
It was a small gift for some one 'in grief..' I will never purchase on a whim without checking trust pilot again.. good new years resolution !!!

A scam. Sold a physical book then sent an ebook. Refused a refund.

I ordered a hardcopy bookand jot an eboik, i received an ebook, and after exchanging a few emails they will not admit the fact that the purchase is misleading. I believe they did it intentionally, they are a scam!

Ordered a book clearly advertised as hardcover. After purchase, they claimed it was an eBook. Nowhere on the website did it mention eBook. Very misleading and feels like a scam. Do not buy from this company.

I ordered an hardcover Book as a gift from their website only to be sent a link to receive a pdf download. The site clearly states a hardcover book unless you select a Digital download from the drop down menu.
I contacted them by email and received a generic email stating that I ordered a digital download and no exchanges or refunds would be provided. Under their refund policy is doesn’t state or refer to digital downloads in anyway. Please be careful on what you intend to purchase from this business obviously they are masquerading as an online book seller but only offering digital formats. Shame on them.

After numerous emails and refusals to refund I obtained the directorship contact details and address from companies house and added that to my email. Low and behold a full refund given.

If you didn’t want an ebook then don’t give up.

On contacting them they said I ordered an book, despite me sending them a screenshot of my order clearly steting hard copy. This is a deliberately misleading website.

Scam site it's actually a polish fishing tackle shop in Poland . Action fraud are now involved

Purchased a hard copy of a book. The book’s condition is stated as “NEW”. Delivery address was required to complete the transaction. Yet when the book did not arrive and Rilonson was questioned, they claimed a an electronic copy was purchased and that no refund will be processed.
