Where do I start! This is without doubt the most descriptive and well written 'motobook' not just motocross book I've ever read! The overall content, pictures, locations, road trips, the highs, the lows, the injuries.... every part of it makes you feel like you are a part of Rob's mission on the 500cc GP circuit. Nostalgic, old school grit motocross at its best! Respect to Rob for embarking on such a challenging motocross career and congratulations on capturing so much detail in this fantastic book 👏

This is great read, I was there at some of the events the description of Namur and photos of when racing was pure and the riders were tough!! So many great times.

This is ‘The Best Motocross Book Ever Written’ bar none! It is very difficult to put down once you start and takes you through an epic journey following Rob’s career in Motocross. The stories, photos and level of detail in this book really puts you on that track or start line alongside him. You can almost smell the exhaust fumes it’s descriptions are that good. If you’ve ridden motocross before and often wondered about certain aspects behind the scenes in the professional motocross world then, this book will go along way to answering your questions. It’s full of facts and information about racing and the day to day life of a professional racer and it’s written brilliantly with each chapter covering all the different aspects of Rob’s career in Motocross during its heyday. I would have bought the book just for the photos alone! A great read and absolute must have!

Rob Andrews book The Inside Line is a must for any Motocross fan,particularly if you were at any of the great races in those greatest years of Motocross, It takes you back to how hard it was for riders like Rob to get to the top and to admire what total dedication he gave to get there,after a good career he then turns out the best book you could ever read about the best era of Motocross ,Well done Rob Andrews

This book is so good, it made mesmile first time reading it and reminded me so much of this great era in Motocross having grown up during this time I remember the names, people and places mentioned. I even raced club level myself so now the feeling of riding a motocross bike. I am now reading it for the second time and it still makes me smile (even lifts my mode it's that good) because it's so well written with great archive photos. I will probably read it a 3rd time in the future. Thank you Rob Andrews it's by far the BEST autobiography I have read.

This book is the complete opposite, i just couldn't wait to read what was coming next and could not put the book down, i must congratulate Rob Andrews on a awesome peice of work, so many things happened to him in his racing career that i didn't realize, if you are a Motocross racer you will love this book , it tells a a story through a truely iconic era in Motocross that will never be repeated, thankyou so much for a great book

Every motocross rider has their own unique experiences. While reading your book I was reminded on numerous occasions of the life that my brother Willie and later on Vanda and the boys must have experienced. Many people think it is a glamorous lifestyle but it involves hard work and lots of sacrifices. However, I believe that underlining it all is a passion and love for the racing itself. It was great to read about your career from your viewpoint as well as the fantastic photos, which resonated about the life of a motocross rider in times past. Thank you.

A well put together read, having been racing during this same time period, although not at Rob's level, it brought me back to a time when racing was a true family sport.
It goes into enough detail to give you a picture of what the struggles are with an athlete, who had the talent to take himself to a level where most of us could never get to.
I also liked the fact that Rob took the time to reply to my feedback, not something every author does I am sure.

I spoke with with rob at the weekend at farleigh castle. When I told him it was the greatest book I have ever read I meant every word. I purchased the book the day it went on sale. To me it was the greatest era motocross has ever seen and the book made me feel that I was with rob from his first race and every gp he competed in right to his last race. Gutted the read only lasted 2 days so this weekend I bought 1 of his mentors bryan (wild) wades book. 👍
