ROK is a company developing coffee machines and tools, focused on helping good, decent coffee folk on their journey to Java Nirvana. Their main products include the Rok EspressoGC and the GrinderGC. Founded in 2002 under the original name "Presso", the company began by creating the original Presso Coffee Maker, launching in 2004. The Presso Coffee Maker soon gained traction after it was featured on the BBC and the television show "He's Got To Have It" in 2005. In 2013 the company was rebranded to its current name: ROK. Shortly thereafter their second project was released, the ROK Coffee Grinder. The company is focused on developing products that embody sustainability, reliability, and longevity.

I am a fan. I really enjoy using the ROK products, I like the way they ar engineered and I really enjoy the espresso that it is possibble to make given all the other variables involved.
Regarding customer service. ROK have always helped me with any queries within one day of my question on email.

Inconsistent grind size
The grind is very inconsistent even after trying to adjust the outer burr many times. The burr key came in faulty, and I got a replacement for it but that didn't fix the problem.

Beautiful machine
Beautiful machine, feels very solid. It takes a little time to figure out how finely to grind the beans, but I'm really enjoying the experience of pulling my shots manually

Ordered the Rok GC Espresso maker
Ordered the Rok GC Espresso maker, oak tamper and naked portafilter and all arrived promptly, well packaged and in perfect working order.
After a few months of use I have to say that I am impressed with the quality of the espresso produced and it easily trumps my old mid-range electric pump machine.
The naked portafilter is fun to use and has helped me master the process.

In love with this machine
In love with this machine. So well made and the coffee it produces is top quality. Takes a little practice to get the perfect pull but well worth it. Got the grinder too which is a pleasure to use. Highly recommend.
