I contacted Rowberrys to write a new Will. Chelsea and Lizzie were excellent and highlighted a few issues that
required my attention now rather than leaving - I really appreciated this advice.

I cannot comment on the entire team at Rowberrys, only the individuals handling my Probate matter. I was subjected to a total lack of professionalism, appalling attention to detail, lethargy and an absence of empathy.
If you provide any form of constructive feedback, the response is petulant. They failed at a crucial point in the proceedings, leaving me to handle all the work, which they subsequently claimed credit for!
Whilst I would like to think this was restricted to one senior solicitor, I was very much mistaken. The poor attitude comes from the Director too. Unbelievable denial of poor service despite the evidence, poor communication, arrogance and lack of accountability.
Their response below is indicative of the nonsense experienced.

Having been made redundant and informed that I have to have legal representation review my settlement in order to qualify for a redundancy payment, I had to seek the services of a solicitor. A simple case, the simplest even, as I had no intention of challenging anything and simply needed a counter signature. I made the error of divulging the employer contribution fee, as seemingly, the service you receive from Rowberrys is not actually what you want or need, it’s based on what they think they can squeeze out of you. For a straight forward, simple settlement agreement, Rowberrys wanted to initially charge me £1008. Far more than my employers legal fee contribution. I have never felt more taken advantage of and ripped off in my entire life, all at a time when I am having to deal with a load of stress as it is. I should have used a solicitor that my colleagues used, as they all were charged a much lower fee and their experience was a good one. In short, I hope I never get made redundant again and if I do, I will never use this bunch of robbers again.

I want to thank all the people, especially Deborah, Susan and Chelsea, that work at Rowberrys for making my mums visit to write her will stress free.
She said Chelsea explained it all to her, so she wasn’t confused and mum obviously understood as she was able to explain it all to me.
Mum has come home very happy and impressed how efficient Chelsea was.
