I have worked with RubyHas for almost 6 years now and they have grown from a small warehouse to multi-national. However, their fees are still fair and I can tell that their customer support really wants to help and never blows me off. We sell mostly small, luxury items and have had a great experience with them.

Ruby Has has done a great job taking care of my company and being responsive. I believe the partnership with Ruby Has is a two way street and feel it is due to the fact that vendors bring on issues as well and RH is always there to help us sort through them. I have sent RH inventory that was not following their strict receiving guidelines and they still worked with me and helped me get my inventory in order. I look forward to the future with this company and I am happy to go to bat for them.

My experiences line up with the other bad reviews so I’ll keep it brief:
-Held my inventory and refused to allow it to be removed for ~3 months
-Lost over 17k in inventory
-After I paid to have the freight truck pick up my inventory, they “forgot” to load about 8 pallets on the truck
-Took weeks to respond to emails and would ignore questions vital to getting my inventory out of this
-Other companies I’ve spoken with experienced the same and some, worse.
First they get you with what seem like good rates. Once you are their client, they start hitting you with "Other Fees" that jack up your bill. And forget about talking to anybody about this, the worse part about this company is their customer service. There is NOBODY to talk to and nobody cares about solving your issues. We even had a case where we disputed a charge and nobody got back to us about it. We just one day woke up to realize that they had stopped shipping out orders just because we did not pay for this disputed charge. I sent 4 emails trying to solve this and nobody replied, they just kept withholding our orders.
Ruby Has is an outdated fulfillment solution with poor management and even poorer customer service. They clearly went over theirs head with a customer acquisition from EasyPost, whom also is a total scum.
I'm one of the customers that was acquired by Ruby Has without a choice. Yes, I (my business) was sold as a customer from one fulfillment business to the other, and you can guess who got to deal with all the consequences and lost a chunk of money due to their incompetencies. Me. They owe me 2 month of revenue, and still over 4000 USD in overcharged shipping services (shipments that should cost 8$ being 40$).
You will find that I'm not alone, and there's a large case of others in the same situation with one clear and loud message:
Stay Away from Ruby Has - No Matter what they promise you, your business will pay dearly for the mistake!
In my situation, as many others, they announced the acquisition 3 weeks ahead, and only a week after notified us that we basically had to GTFO from EasyPost and accept the Ruby Has T&C or otherwise all our inventory would be destroyed.
Any sensible business owner knows that you can't possible switch from fulfillment centre within a week or 2! Research, intake meetings, negotiations, planning, logistics, and payments. It takes months and a lot of effort to move!
Like many others you don't have the choice but to accept that now Ruby Has will take over. You tell yourself, in the meanwhile I'll find a different service, and if Ruby Has does a good job, might as well stay. wrong!
This is how the transfer went:
1. No transparent information
2. No access to inventory, no option to ship, no insight in the transfer.
3. Was not able to ship anything for at least 2 full month.
4. When finally was able to access inventory and ship, they lost 20% of the inventory. No recovery, and STILL waiting for them to refund it! (6 month pending).
5. Shipments happen, get over charged on shipments by 400%, due to whatever human errors. Also STILL waiting for them to refund the amount.
The only good word is that after many calls, emails, and frustration... I did get out of their damned fulfillment.... I had found an alternative fulfillment in the meanwhile ,which I stocked and eventually transferred everything to.
Don't trust a word that Ruby Has tells you, I've been promised the world multiple times, per call, email, and video face to face, and they outrightly just lie and don't commit. Just stalling, and stalling, and evading any responsibility.

Now they just moved all of our stock to another facility without telling us anything. Result: 2 weeks of no fulfilled orders without warning. The customer service is just the worst. It'a an unbelievably poorly organized company. Very questionable employment criterias. I would not reccomend at all to work with them. All marketing, zero substance.
Run from Ruby Has. They are the worst at everything. Customer service, Receiving time, they are very unreliable.
I'm currently with RubyHas but am leaving them after a few months. We used to be with EasyPost. EasyPost was fantastic... not a single issue in the years we were with them. With little notice and a pandemic, I switched to RubyHas thinking it would be the same. Wrong. My biggest issues are the following.
1) They sent someone else's product with my companies name to a customer. They did apologies and fixed the issue immediately.
2) I specifically set up the system to fulfill ONLY US orders. They fulfilled a Canadian order that cost me more money than my product itself. I am still fighting this charge and have received no compensation. They asked me rudely to prove to them that I set up the system this way. I sent them an email proving that I asked for this filter at least 3 times. Still no response or compensation.
3) If I don't pay their invoice within 24 hours they immediately stop service. They also send invoices after every order is fulfilled. It's crazy. Why not one invoice per month?
4) They charge a monthly fee of $200 for just warehousing. Plus over $12 to pick, pack and ship my small product. Amazon charges $8.
Not worth it. Save your money.
Beware,This is probably the worst company you can deal with. After 2 months of working with them, we ran away. They have absolutely the worst customer service exists. The lost us inventory, we lost so much money with them, and they did not agree to compensate us. At the end, we wanted to get our inventory back - it took them 60 days(!!!) to pack one pallet, and now they are charging us enormous amount to return the inventory - the same pricing as if it was a retail order. Ridiculous, stay away!
I don't even know where to start! The experience have been absolutely terrible and not in a million years would I ever recommend this company to anyone.
I could write pages on everything they're doing wrong but I've already wasted so many hours/days and money on this company that it is not even worth it.
Even when managers step in and they give you a good talk and finally thinking everything is working out it turns out that it's BS as well.
To keep the story short, as of today it's been 63 days without my company being able to ship out products as they're transitioning us to a different fulfillment center on THEIR recommendation! I was told it would take 2-3 days.
For the sake of your e-commerce business, do not use this 3PL. Their internal systems are appalling, management are absent and customer service staff have no connection with what is happening on the warehouse floor. Simple questions take weeks to answer, "shipped" orders are actually still sitting in the warehouse, no inventory reconciliation, FIFO not observed leading to expired product being sent to customers - the list goes on and on.
this morning I've been able to connect with the Ruby Has support team and am satisfied with the results.
This is a horribly disorganized company from the bottom to the top. Support takes days to get back to you, no accountability, extremely poor record keeping. If you want to work with a company that has no transparency and does accept any responsibility then I would suggest working with RubyHas. It is very clear that rubyhas will not survive the pandemic as their competitors are much more invested in technology to stream line their business while Ruby has nothing. You can clearly tell this was not a company built on strong practices but is purely a sales person driven company.
