We had a sale fall through at the very last minute last year and at the eleventh hour Zoe Harryman of Russell and Russell took over our case, sadly too late to save that sale but when we resold she took that on as well as our purchase of a (it turns out) fairly run down cottage.

This was our first experience of buying and selling at the same time and we were still reeling from the previous sale failing to complete but Zoe (and team) guided us through, reassured us when we needed it and patiently dealt with all of the ups and downs of both transactions.

It's been fairly painful but Zoe made it less so and was absolutely wonderful throughout. It was two year journey for us but we are now in our new house surrounded by mess and boxes but very grateful indeed to Zoe and her team for getting us here.

I will almost miss our very regular phonecalls but I'm sure she won't and hope she at least gets to lie down in a darkened room for a while.

I've used Russell & Russell for conveyance purposes on numerous occasions over many years, alongside trying other companies. They continually deliver and remain my go to solicitor.

Only once have I been disappointed with their performance and upon complaining my case was re-assigned to another member of staff and the usual high standard of service was resumed.

It's not the mistakes that define you/ a company but how you/ they deal with them and they did just that.

Not the cheapest out there but certainly not the most expensive and always provide good value. Happy to pay more and get more.

I have worked with Zoe Harryman and her team for over 20 years and have found them to be informative and helpful with the purchase and sale of several properties. they are always available and work in a professional but accesible and friendly way.

The criminal defence solicitors are beyond shocking, they clearly are duty solicitors wanting to make a name for them selves with in the courts. Complete lack of confidence in their services. They convinced me to make an early guilty plea as I would not receive a custodial. It was clearly lies and in the day they never said a word I. My favour. Missed out crucial evidence and we're just condescending in manners. In fact there were no manners. The worst solicitor I have honestly ever known. If you fancy some time in jail for something undeserved then they are the ones for you!
