Called up to discuss the item suitability for my need before ordering, ended up with an item I couldn’t realistically get into my property (explained this on the phone and was told not an issue). Then charged for delivery despite the item not making its way through my front door. Called up twice to rectify and was told I’d be refunded in full. Never was, called again, told that was a mistake. Terrible experience and still out of pocket!

Communication was good. Delivery and pick up was prompt. The issue for me was the quality of the scaffolding tower. Whilst the tower itself was ok, only 2 of the casters worked so I had to lift one end and push it around like an out of control shopping trolley.

Very helpful team to deal with. Delivery very prompt with text message with a 15min slot time. Very helpful advice when I phoned with a query. I had not ordered the correct size and the SAB team went out of their way to sort out and ensure I got the additional parts the same day.

No compassion just greed. I hired scaffolding for a certain day which was fine. They called me to ask if i would take delivery a day earlier which I thought I would do to help them out. The next day I fell off a ladder and was unable to use the scaffold (The day it should have been delivered). I immediately rang them up to say I couldn't use it as I had an accident and that they could pick it up. They said they could get it next day after we discussed keeping it for the week hire period but I wouldn't recover in time. At no point did they say I would lose all my money. A week later they asked if I had finished with the scaffold even though they collected it. When I asked if I still had credit they said no and basically took all my money. I thought they would just take for the delivery charge. In short They took all my money and I didn't use their scaffold, I helped them out by receiving delivery earlier and they shafted me. As a tradesman, I thought I'd give these guys a chance but will not be getting any future custom from me.

Further to their reply below. I would have been happy if they had given me a 50% charge for this hire with a view to me hiring in the future at full price for the job I still need to complete. At the end of the day they had 6 days to rehire the scaffold that I didn't use.
