This was our first flotilla experience and Sailing holidays were absolutely brilliant! We did the 2 week North and South Ionian and had an amazing time with great people. The lead crew (Ben, Ellie and Toby) were fantastic and were on hand to help with everything when needed. The route was brilliant and we stopped at some beautiful harbours and anchor stops. We loved the fact you could go and explore on your own and then meet at the designated port in the evening. The whole customer service experience from booking (which was last minute!) right through to the end was professional, efficient and well coordinated. We highly recommend and will definately be sailing with them again. Looking forward to our next trip!

Just back from our 6th flotilla holiday with Sailing Holidays and I guess that says everything.
This time we were in the Sporades with Tom, Em and Kian as our wonderful lead crew who looked after us really well. This flotilla was our favourite so far with stays in busy towns, Skiathos and Skopelos (great ice creams) and small places such as Alonissos National marine park (amazing star filled night sky). Throw in some sightings of dolphins, a group of lovely people, sunshine and some good sailing and you have a 5 star holiday.
Already thinking about next year’s holiday.

This is our 4th Flotilla with Sailing Holidays only discovered them May 2024, since then we have spent 5 weeks sailing and 1 week at the Iris Hotel. The whole flotilla experience with Sailing Holidays is just brilliant, good fun. The company has a real personal touch by its owners, who make time to catch up with the various flotillas. The Lead Crews are brilliant and make sailing really easy and of course great fun. The London Office take all the worry out of and make it really easy. Thanks to all at Sailing Holidays

It was refreshing to receive a response from my review, however I still have not received a separate reply, as you stated in your response! I can only think that this is another fobbing off. The safety issues I highlighted to you at the time should have caused you to reassure me and state that you would investigate but nothing was done from your end and this continues to be the case. I have contacted several marine agencies to ask what safety checks are required for charter boats and also how to proceed. This is not what I wanted but due to your lack of response and understanding of real safety issues I feel that this is required. Having worked as a safety engineer and accident investigator i have heard and witnessed too many incidents that could have been avoided.

Just back from a fabulous fortnight sailing around the Sporades. My Twelfth flotilla with Sailing Holidays and as usual the lead crew helped us have a great time. You guys are the best.

Very friendly, always our 'best holiday ever' as per comments from my family, the company always caters well for our disabled daughter.

Just back from a great 2 weeks sailing The Sporades, can highly recommend this area, very picturesque and good sailing conditions.
Superb lead crew and worth a mention that due to a flight delay out of Heathrow the team had made up the beds, switched on the fridges and provided cold beers and pizza - really thoughtful after a long day travelling and sums up what Sailing Holidays is all about.

Our boat was well maintained and clean, great sailing weather in the Sporades and as always lead crew available, competent and friendly. This was our 13 Flot with Sailing Holidays and we have 2 more booked.

We wouldn’t sail with anyone else. It’s a fantastic company that always look after you and we have been to some amazing places with them. The lead crews are always on hand to help and give you enormous confidence. No question is too silly!

Fantastic flotilla company, very well organised, clear pricing, friendly and helpful UK booking team. We have done numerous flotilla sailing holidays with this company and found them to be excellent, the sailing support from the lead crews provide a safe and carefree sailing experience, from route selection, moorings, technical information/assistance, local knowledge, etc.

We did the South Ionian Islands. The boats are well kitted out and easy to sail. Moreover the lead boat was staffed with Nick who was calm and really helpful and Imogen who knew every bit of the islands and gave us excellent tips for a very enjoyable holiday. So good we are going again next year with the same company

Unfortunately our boat was poorly maintained! We had a broken fridge which turned out to have multiple electrical faults which could have lead to a fire. Our radio did not work more than 800m and less in some cases which was a real safety concern. Our engine mounting bolts and prop shaft bolts were found to be loose and the correct locking methods had not been employed. Lastly when all these issues were reported to the UK offices we received an email that basically fobbed us off.
On a positive note, the Lead Crew were amazing and the route spectacular.

We just returned from another wonderful three weeks on the Gouvia to Orei Sporades delivery where we covered very nearly 630 nautical miles and some rather challenging weather conditions. The lead crew were excellent, very professional and technically very competent. They took every care to ensure everything went smoothly at all times. Great attention to seamanship during berthing procedures was taken throughout. We are making these comments not purely based on previous flotilla experiences in Greece, but also on significant mileage sailing the west coast of Scotland over the years and technical training up to RYA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore. We visited some very interesting and pretty places along the way. The company was great and we met some very interesting people. We would recommend a Sailing Holidays flotilla to anyone who loves sailing. Great support teams in all the cruises we have done with them. All our previous lead crews have also been excellent. We look forward to many more cruises with them, great sailing, great fun and great company.

Another fabulous trip. Three week delivery from Corfu to Orei. We even had time for a few days exploring the Sporades when we got there.

We've been sailing with Sailing Holidays for about 20 years now. They are the best by far. And we'll be sailing with them again later this year and already booked the delivery trips for 2025.

Damaged caused to my boat by floatila from Sailing Holidays. Tried to ram a boat into a space which was too small with high winds. Sailing holidays used a dinghy to try and push the bow against the wind and the inexperienced holiday maker was coming in too fast. Sailing holidays were supposed to repair the damaged caused, but didn't turn up. This company has a terrible reputation in Greece amongst sailers and cause havoc. Irresponsible, inexperienced staff are a menace. If you are looking for a sailing experience, please look elsewhere for a more competent company. AVOID.

Lead Crew Delphi were fantastic! We had a great time, the sailing was good, for me as a novice the weather was perfect and we had a mixture of motoring, motor sailing and just sailing. Ben, Ellie and Barnsey are extremely competent and experienced. This was my first time sailing in over 30 years, and my first experience of a flotilla holiday. We were with a great group of people and the lead crew ensured we all had a fantastic experience. I will definitely be going back!

Have just returned from another amazing holiday with Sailing Holidays. They have an amazing team and customer service which other companies should learn from. I am very much looking forward to another Sailing holiday with them in the not too distant future.

Just back from another flotilla holiday with Sailing Holidays. We have been sailing with Sailing Holidays for over 15 years and enjoy the experience so much that recently we have been twice a year. We like to leave early sail/motor for 3/4 hours tie up early then do a 2/3 hour walk. The Whole Ionian flotilla is ideal for this and the crew were very accommodating to our timetable. most people choose to have a less energetic day and stop at one of the many beautiful bays for lunch and a swim. Yes we were told to run our engines for 2 hours a day to facilitate a cold fridge but not in harbour. All the quayside tavernas were very welcoming as we tended to be their first customers after aa long winter. We sail in Spring and Autumn to avoid the crowds and so we can visit the more desirable destinations. We have always found Sailing Holidays staff responsive courteous and understanding, we like that it is a family enterprise with Barry the owner coming down to see us and asking about our holiday should we go to Sivota. Sailing Holidays is great value for money and yes we would prefer not to fly EasyJet but appreciate using them keeps the cost down. We have many great memories of our time on Sailing Holiday boats.
