Flooring was laid in kitchen in a herringbone design , the room was quite long so they had to cut halfway and join. The effort at joining this was quite appalling , where the had cut the laminate wrongly was clear to see/ where the knife had slipped. It looked really obvious all the way down the middle .
The carpets upstairs were a joke and gaps were left under the metal threshold strips with bits fraying . The carpet on the stairs hadn’t been fixed correctly and therefore the carpet was coming loose from several steps . Where the carpet met the threshold strip in the front room it was that loose it moved when you stood on it.
I had several visits from I will say, quite polite and friendly employees , so I can’t fault them personally. But it felt like I was being fobbed off with trying to use a different colour glue to hide it etc .
I eventually put my foot down and so did the site manager and said it just needed re-fitting . They did this whilst I was out as I had an appointment ( this is after having had to fit numerous appointments around work with them) , it was clear this had been done in a rush with no actual care or consideration. The whole floor was dusty , they left the grouting around the edge in a mess .There were obvious bumps and grit left underneath at the edges where it hadn’t been cleared or prepped carefully.
The stairs had been refitted and were covered in dust and chunks of fluff , no hoovering after . To top it off a pink pare bag which was on my floor had been placed on my quartz worktop with an empty water bottle which then lead to discolouration on my worktop !! Luckily this was fixed by the site manager. I had left biscuits and a tea coffee kit out and numerous dirty coffee stained cups were scattered on the sink with tea stains on the kitchen surfaces.
This just seemed really disrespectful!
Furthermore, due to the grouting not being removed properly and bumps under the flooring this then led to another two applications of grouting ( the first looked a mess due to the state of the flooring ) till it looked okay . There are still pieces of laminate that still aren’t stuck down correctly. The paperwork that should have been left wasn’t and no courtesy call or follow up done. I will never use this company or accept flooring included in a new build . This company has regularly been used by the building company, who I won’t name as they have provided excellent customer service.

Can't recommend or thank Saint Flooring enough for the amazing job they did on my floor. I had an old floor that presented a number of challenges, but Saint Flooring resolved them and now I have the most amazing floor. Their service, dedication and professionalism to deliver a fantastic job was superb. Lyle and Lewis went above and beyond. A massive thank you.

Nice and responsive customer service. But avoid Amtico floor surface. Especially in heavy use bright areas like the kitchen. It’s uneven, easy to scratch, easy to get dirty (but not at all easy to clean) surface. Aaaaaaa

Absolutely brilliant company to deal with. All the staff from customer service, managers and fitters are very polite, professional and helpful. We have had Amtico Flooring to the whole of the lower floor. Saint Flooring are very competitive. The fitter we had, Ben, was just amazing, he did the job much quicker than we expected, he was very clean and tidy and super helpful.
We would definitely recommend Saint Flooring without hesitation.

Saintflooring instructed by new build developer for some remedial work which was only to replace some antico flooring tiles in the utility room.

2nd March 2023- Fitter arranged and confirmed since February - didnt show up.

Fitter went home sick apparently and the company didnt tell me until I emailed them 8th March asking what was going on.

New date arranged for the 20th March - FItter arrived but wasnt told any information so didnt have enough tiles or floor levelling with him.

Company next emailed me in July to advise 8th August they could come and do the work in the morning.

8th August - fitter brakes down on way to another job apparently. Told at 2.30pm I will have to wait for another date.

The fact the developer is paying for this is the only reason I am allowing them to do the work. If I were paying I would have told them to clear off a long time ago.

Reviews on contractors who have worked for them seem to match up with my experience.

Moved into our St.modwen home less than a year ago, and the carpets are a disgrace. When saint flooring came out he didn't even know what he was looking at, and was very rude. They are refusing to replace my carpet due to it just being the "walk way" however st.modwen customer manager told us it had lost a pile and would be replaced! I am embarrassed to have people into my BRAND NEW home. Their excuse is "the longer the pile the more it would flatten" well why pay for the more expensive carpet then?

AVOID THIS COMPANY. rude and arrogant.
