Be cautious before paying a deposit. Communication was prompt initially, but after payment was made, replies became very delayed and unclear. I had to repeatedly chase for updates and was not given consistent information. The experience felt very different before and after payment.
I had 360 lipo, extended abdominoplasty, inner and outer thigh lipo - a week later, a hair transplant.
I chose Dr Basat as his name was attached to his company meaning reputation is key. I am personally against aggressive marketing when it comes to elective surgery as it is still surgery regardless and not just a photo opportunity, plus there is an element of privacy that was admirable on the Drs Page. the booking process was effortless. I met with Dr via a WhatsApp call through his super dedicated manager Ata. Dr is very personable, very unassuming, and very down to earth and so is Ata.
As I type I am 4 weeks post op and the best version of myself and to imagine the results will be even better is humbling. The operation was complication free total of 6 hours, 3 for the op itself other than post op seroma, on and off pain and a wet belly button all of which were taken care of in Istanbul/Memorial Hosp and still being taken care of by a recommended private therapist at home.
I am super grateful that I went with Dr Basat and wouldn't change him! His work is very professional, he is dedicated and more so very personable which was one of the best qualities in my opinion. He remains in touch meaning the care extends beyond just the operation itself - but a life-long journey.
The only 1 ask I have is to give patients a more detailed and comprehensive after care notes/package/instructions in addition to post surgery notes just like the hair transplant clinic did.
I was very satisfied with all the services that were provided to me, all at a high level. Mr. dr. Salih Onur Basat has gold not only in his hands but also in his heart, and this all applies to patient advisor Ata as well! also excellent post surgery care, the nurses were very nice and tried to accommodate me in everything and last but not least the transport that was included in the price, the personal driver was always punctual, very communicative and his face always shone with a smile😊 I am looking forward to the next meeting with nice people whom I had the opportunity to meet, and I am also looking forward to beautiful Istanbul and great Turkish food.
