Saneux UK Reviews 

I purchased five Saneux toilets in 2020, and two of the toilet seats have already failed due to the soft-close damper mechanism. This is the component inside the hinge that controls the slow, smooth closing of the lid and prevents it from slamming. Once the damper fails, the Saneux seat effectively becomes defective, as confirmed by Saneux Customer Service, whose position is that the entire unit must be replaced. This is not the case with other brands such as Duravit, Grohe, Roca and many others, which provide replacement dampers or hinge components specifically designed to restore this function without requiring full replacement of the seat.
What is completely unacceptable is Saneux’s position on this matter. Not only do they not offer a replacement for the damper, but they also state that they are unable to supply any technical specification for it, claiming that neither they nor their factory hold this information. This is either highly implausible or a position that ultimately forces customers to purchase full replacements instead of enabling a reasonable repair.
In addition, the product quality itself is clearly poor. Having 2 out of 5 seats fail after around five years falls well below any reasonable expectation of durability for this type of product.
Overall, this reflects very poorly on both the product and the level of customer support. I would definitely not recommend Saneux based on this experience.

All our bathroom items are from Saneux and we had an excellent seamless experience from beginning to end. Any issues have been resolved quickly too, recently we needed a spare part, which was sorted from phonecall to delivery within 24 hours! Our Cos brassware still looks beautiful 5 years on and our wooden cabinets are also still looking perfect even in our children's bathroom!

Great product, great service

We have Saneux appliances fitted throughout all our new build property. They must of chose this brand due to the cheap and poor quality! All taps, sinks, plugs are corroding and tarnished. Numerous have rusted, even though they are made to be used with water!? And when we have tried to resolve this through Sanuex support and have replacements under warranty they never reply with a resolution. Currently waiting over 4 months for a replacement as all items now seem to be discontinued and ‘the factory’ aren’t responding for them. Awful customer care. Avoid purchasing, unless you want faulty and poor quality items which you will never get replaced under warranty!

Excellent service

We've bought a Saneux vanity unit about two years ago. After about two months the finish started chipping off on the drawers. Initially I thought it might have been our fault and someone might have accidentally hit the surface with a sharp object. However, over time, the paint finish is coming off everywhere. When we complained and asked for replacement doors under warranty, we were told – without any evidence – that it's our fault and we have probably used the wrong cleaning products. That's not true and a baseless claim by the company. The company offered to sell us replacement drawer doors, but refused outright to even look at the issue, let alone fix it. Definitely not recommended!

We ordered a bathroom suite (washbasin, cabinet and tallboy). Within 6 months the tallboy had paint coming off the door. Contacted customer service who said that it was moisture damage from being in a bathroom. The damage is not from moisture as there is no swelling of the underlying MDF. Either way, it's a bathroom suite. It's supposed to go in a bathroom! We asked them for at least some touch up paint but apparently this is unavailable so they just gave us the paint code. Not good enough. At the very least, a replacement door should be sent out. The product is substandard and the customer service is very lax to say the least.

Totally agree with all the other comments do not use this company unless you want substandard goods.
My elderly parents had a bathroom refitted and after about 8 months the mirrored bathroom cabinet started to show signs of deterioration on the edge. We contacted the fitter who contacted the company was told they was using harsh chemical cleaners... they was not! The fitter got no where with the company so my dad contacted them and they did not have the decency to respond.

We refitted our bathroom with Saneaux products. The vanity unit almost immediately began to peel away. Two years on we are having to spend another £2k to make good the damage. The company were totally unhelpful from the start, accusing us of having caused the problem before they even inspected it. Do not buy from this company.
