Misleading Advertisement and Disappointing Product Quality
I ordered this perfume based on a YouTube ad that claimed it was a hybrid of Diptyque’s Tam Dao and Dunhill Icon, inspired by Shahrukh Khan’s interview. I thought this would eliminate the need to buy both perfumes separately. However, the fragrance I received is nothing like either of those originals. It doesn’t match their scent profiles at all, and its lasting power is far less than expected. The original perfumes last much longer and are noticeable, whereas this one fades within 2–3 hours.
I contacted customer support, and their response was that it’s a “unique home recipe” and not a hybrid of the two perfumes, which completely contradicts the initial advertising. This feels like a total mislead. If it’s not a hybrid of the original perfumes, why advertise it as such?
Additionally, the perfume I received is less than 50ml, which feels misleading in itself. While the fragrance is decent, it’s not my type, and I’ve already given it to a friend. Unfortunately, I’ve traveled and am no longer in Pakistan, so returning the product is not an option.
Please avoid this product at all costs—it doesn’t live up to its claims, and the whole experience has been disappointing.
