1 year ago today I was genuinely making ZERO.

The black friday challenge was a crazy experience,lt was the first course that had me mind blown and actually thinking I can do this. I've attended many Challenges and workshops. You name it. From the top names in industry... BUT...

I was never able to get results from them.

Just want to give my man Sean Ferres the recognition he needs. Honestly, the challenge was such a blast. Easily worth 100x more than what he charged for it.

I'm quite happy that Sean does these kinds of LT challenges cause after talking to a whole lot of poeple in the VIP group, I saw that a lot were from Tier-3 countries like me. This kind of opportunity can go a long way and bring back huge lumps of ROI when you have the guts to invest in it.

What really stood out to me was the way he got our back at every stage of the way. I mean, who sends you a google doc worth 140 pages that basically removes all the "if and whens" for you?

The whole reason I bought the first workshop back in January of 2025 was because I was really stuck on the limitations of inbound leads. Realizing that if I could find an outbound system, I could take control into my own hands. Coincidentally, I found Sean's workshop by having signed up to his list a looongg time ago.

Having followed training from Jason Capital before, I knew Sean was a top student, and he clearly has taken what he has learned and improved on it over the years.

Speaking of over-delivery, our last Black Friday workshop was a 3-day workshop that started halfway through November, and Sean literally yesterday (5th of December) was still doing Q&A calls and over-delivering with extra checklists, cheat sheets, and other deliverables just to make sure we are set and implementing what we've learned.

I've been in the copywriting game for nearly 3 years now.

Bought courses worth hundreds of dollars.

Every guru taught some "Spray and Pray" method.

And to be honest?

They weren't as bad as I expected them to be.

They were for sure worse than that.

Recently I received Sean's email about the Black Friday Challenge he ran. He asked me if I would like to be in?

I was like $29 is a pocket change, let's check what he's got.

I got in.

Consumed his drug-like addicted trainings.

And believe you me guys/gals, I've sent only 70 outreaches so far with Sean's method, and I've already got 4 POSITIVE REPLIES.

I'm just on the verge of closing clients.

This is surreal for me.

The number of positive replies I got with 5,000 outreaches - the methods given to me by gurus, the same number of positive replies I got with only 70 outreaches with Sean's method.

This guy knows his shit.

I'm presuming, if he delivered this much value in $29, what will he provide once I will pay him thousands of dollars and join CMB.

Now I'm going to close couple of clients with Sean's infamous "Reverse Outreach," then gonna join CMB, and scale to the moon.

Thanks Sean for not being pain in the ass unlike other fakers in the copywriting industry.

Edited: I have had 2 replies from Sean to my TP, both were against GL revealing personal id, illegitimate references, incorrect timeline/cherrypicked emails in a drive link. All with disdain from his ego being bruised that led to a very untrue reply from him. This was proven with genuine evidence and his reply being removed by TP once or twice, the last below he took down. I'm quite frankly over this situation, and it needs to stop. The lack of honesty from him is to be noted. I wanted out before the event had even started. Nothing should have led to this. The lengths he has gone to protecting his behavior is concerning for people that may want out after a coaching situation with him starts. The disclaimer he'll give refunds no Qs asked, and your money back, is true, but he may write a lengthy email with a very different story, using it to sell more products, and accidentally send it to you. Since it was the 1st refund and I got the brunt of it, I'm sure he will be better equipped to deal with a ‘General Lesson’ next time. OVERVIEW: paid for challenge 11:37 18/11/25, had Qs for clarity. Site says you get "everything" but after paying for it+lifetime access=$79USD you're taken to the next page. Shows comparatively what you $ for and what another tier up $$VIP gives. You get enough to allow you to navigate it on your own, but paying extra, will actually give it all. A little deterring. Zara (AI) texts you after, offering help, unable to reply to Qs and stopped responding. 13:05 18/11/25, 1st supp email of a few sent, due to no reply (he sent 9 in that time), not wanting any drama the day of, and needing clarity. He replied 08:50 19/11/25, no answers. Said he didn't know what I had asked? Upon typing a more descriptive one for him to understand, I got a 2nd reply from the same email (but fwd at a later time), still no clarification, but a thankyou for picking an error up on the site, that he quickly fixed. I added a request for refund. I didn’t think the he was a match from the replies. Refund sent 18:15 19/11/25. I thanked him, wished that the event went well for him and his team. Thought nothing more. Next day 01:13 20/11/25 got an email titled ‘Refund’ with imagined nonsense, depicting a very different reality and lies about comms. This was sent to how many subs? Names weren’t shared at that point, he cherrypicked 2 emails, 1 from after the event finished, the 2nd a reply to his inability to understand my questions, but from the 2nd fwded email hiding his initial reply that had errors a cpwriter shouldn't let slide. Neither showing the "Refund" email I was reviewing. Emails didn’t stop, and I kept getting promo+course related access links. Replied to 1 that may have been from a place of resolve. Wrong. Was another sales pitch. He didn't answer anything mentioned. Said he was removing me from his sub list and other snide remarks. Did my TP 25/11/25, he replied 16 days later, wasn’t authentic. He was asked to edit/follow GL. 15/12/25 new reply. 17/12/25 it was removed. I had never heard from him personally. 02:50 18/12/25 got an email stating "Christ do you have nothing better to do with your time?" to which I responded. "Are you asking for the lord and saviours schedule as you don't approve of it Or what are you referring to?" I'm sure he is great at what he does from his following, but with customer service, respect, accountability and maturity, they are maybe not so much part of his repertoire as of my personal experience. Linked with his displayed global responses to it. UPDATE: he has just posted pretty much the same reply still sharing my personal details after TP warned him. The CMB is the sixth copywriting course I’ve bought, and the only one that’s kept me coming back for more. While it teaches email copywriting techniques, it’s so much more than just a copywriting course. It's a copywriting BUSINESS course.

Unlike most programs that leave you with a Teachable account full of pre-recorded videos and expect you to figure things out on your own, Sean’s approach is different. He shares up-to-date client-getting strategies and helps you troubleshoot along the way.

We often buy a course because of the coach, but after enrolling, it’s usually a community manager, and not the coach, who answers your questions in the Facebook or Slack group. With Sean’s course, though, Sean himself responds. He’s an incredibly hands-on and hardworking coach who truly shows up for his students.

So far this course has been amazing!! I bought another (more expensive) copywriting course in 2023 and is PALES in comparison to CMB. Yes, I'm only halfway through the course and haven't gotten any results/clients (yet - I'll update this review to 5 stars once it happens) but already this course has proven to be better. First off, unlike other programs who have hundreds of hours of video to sit through, most of which are 2 hours long with tons of fluff in them, Sean gets right to the point and each of his videos and modules are PACKED with value. I cannot stress enough how each time I've had questions or didn't understand something in my other copywriting courses it was explained to me in CMB in a way that made COMPLETE sense. It was (and continues to be) awesome.

Yes, it's true that most of Sean's knowledge is posted on YouTube. (That's where I started out before I bought the course.) However, the information inside the course is definitely more in-depth/broken down for you. Could you figure all of this out from Sean's YouTube videos and not pay for his course? I'm sure you could. But you'd be figuring it out all on your own with no support AND spending COUNTLESS hours trying to piece it all together. So then the question becomes "how valuable is your time?" The answer (for me, at least) is "PRICELESS."

What really got me to sign up was the 10-week $4k/mo guarantee (if you're not making $4k a month at the end of 10 weeks he and his team will work with you until you do.) That spoke volumes because that tells me that Sean/CMB won't give up on me, which is so refreshing to hear. Other copywriting programs I've gone through promise unlimited support but then change the narrative midway through and make you spend even more money for continued support. (Ouch.) But I have not heard anything negative about Sean or CMB.

Again, I haven't finished the course/gotten clients yet but already I feel like I can conquer the world with the knowledge and confidence CMB has given me.

I highly recommend CMB if you're trying to build a freelancing copywriting business or even marketing agency. And the possibilities are endless in the AI age! He over delivers in his course and really cares about his clients' success.

I like how his program is completely geared towards client acquisition. This isn't another "marketing fluff" course. Anyone who finished this course can land at least one client. He gives you actionable steps on how to find ready-to-buy clients, the exact copy that converts, and you get access to business, copywriting and sales coaching calls to improve your close rate.

Within a month of taking his course seriously, I landed my first client which was a $5K/month retainer. First client!! I'm now in his year-long mastermind, The Resistance, where he continues to over deliver. He also does a great job of referring you clients (and The Resistance members get first dibs!)

I would get his course if you're looking for a predictable system to gain clients. He's also up-to-date on AI, marketing and related trends so he's never using outdated tactics. We just learned how to make AI video ads which has been a huge hit this holiday season!
